Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition

Really like this game, love the series. I've spent 200+ hrs in this game and have 100% everything (my game details doesn't reflect that cause I used a save from a different account). The good is that combat is really fun, pretty big change from the previous game where you just freeze everything and unload arrows. Machines now have different elemental weaknesses and every encounter is much more strategic. Inventory has been massively improved, it no longer feels like 10% of the game is clearing space for inventory slots. The story was good, not as good as the first, but still great lore with some emotional moments. The mixed bag is that there are loads more weapons and outfits allowing you to specialize in your combat style. I see the vision with the upgrade system which could have been really good, it definitely padded the game somewhat but was fun for most of the game. What wasn't fun was the endgame grind to get the material required for the legendary gears. Exploration was mostly good, but parts of the map gatekeeps you from completing it until you unlock various story related items. It can be good to keep you from venturing into high level areas/missions, but most of the gatekeeping is for random loot. Again, I see the vision but think the execution could've been better. The bad is that the game isn't well optimized, amongst the bugs I've encountered: crash to desktop, lost primary sound (only ambient sounds remaining), NPC faces flickering, map not loading. FPS fluctuates noticeably when in areas with lots of details, mostly settlements so it isn't a big deal, but sometimes during set-piece battles which is a big deal. The final mission of the DLC require me restarting the game 3 separate times due to various crashes. Overall fun game but takes some patience, love the world-building and the story they've weaved. I'm looking forward to starting my NG+ after a break

Already played it on the PS5, great game 9 out of 10 for sure. No issues with the PC port as of yet.

Amazing game. Fantastic gameplay, lots of things to do in the open world. Incredible graphics and sound. Great dialogue and plot.

good game, if you liked zero dawn, you're gonna like forbidden west. - Improved gameplay - Many unanswered lore-related questions from ZD finally get answered (and i'm less than 20hrs in) - Graphics are STUNNING. one of the best-looking games this generation - Maaany more Machines to fight - The map is more interesting imo pc port is good if it works. If you have issues with bad framerates after some playtime, try updating the directstorage and dlss DLLs in the game files (google that and you'll find it). That helped me and now i have relatively stable ~70fps on my system on 1440p High (specs attatched). Only some cutscenes unfortunately dip to 20-30fps when there are many characters on screen. Avoid changing graphics settings while in-game, otherwise the game WILL cut fps in half and a restart is required. But gameplay feels smooth and the button mapping is good (with some weird quirks, like resetting settings with F and applying with R???? I've accidentilly reset my graphics settings way too often because of that). Controller is of course fully supported and plays just like on PS5/PS4

Um dos melhores jogos que já joguei ficando só atrás do red dead redemption 2, mundo aberto enorme e vivo! cheio de missões e atividades para fazer. A quantidade de mecânicas que esse jogo apresenta pra você é absurda, diversos estilos de armaduras e armas. A história é muito boa e apresenta novos personagens com nível de complexidade alto. Em promoção pode comprar sem medo que vai ter no mínimo umas 60+ horas se fizer tudo do jogo.

Jogo maravilhoso! A sequência da aventura da Aloy expandiu a franquia de forma genial, trazendo ainda mais conteúdo e evoluindo tudo o que o primeiro jogo fez de bom. Recomendo demais este jogo!
