Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I’ve played every Assassin’s Creed game, often buying multiple copies, and I spent over 200 hours in Shadows, loving the atmosphere and the incredible open world (even if a bit empty). I definitely enjoyed it, even though it never reaches the narrative strength of Bayek in Origins. I uninstalled the game because DLC from Ubisoft Connect does not work with the Steam version. My accounts are linked, the DLC is activated, but the game refuses to load it. Ubisoft has silently disabled cross‑store compatibility. Support replied with a generic “incompatible with the launch platform” message and no solution, and this is something I cannot accept after years of constructive criticism and genuine appreciation for Ubisoft games. On the other side, the seller (Loaded) refunded only a small part as a courtesy, since the issue is entirely caused by Ubisoft’s policy and I couldn’t expect anything more from them. Thumbs up to the seller. Steam + Ubisoft Connect DLC does not work, and Ubisoft offers no help. After this, I lost interest in Shadows, and I will not be “resynced” in July. Desynchronized is my new way.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Feudal Japan has been realised with remarkable attention to detail, creating one of the most visually striking settings the series has ever explored. However, the enormous world can become exhausting over time, with the adventure lasting far longer than necessary. While there is plenty to see and do, the experience occasionally outstays its welcome. The story follows the journeys of Naoe and Yasuke, offering two contrasting perspectives throughout the campaign. Naoe stands out as the stronger protagonist, with a compelling personal journey that feels much more in line with the themes that have defined the Assassin's Creed series. Yasuke is an entertaining character in his own right, but his role often feels misplaced within the franchise, particularly given his complete lack of stealth capabilities. Despite these differences, the relationship between the two gradually develops into one of the game's strongest aspects, making it surprisingly easy to become invested in their partnership by the conclusion. Gameplay benefits greatly from the contrast between its two playable characters. Naoe's stealth-focused abilities provide the classic Assassin's Creed experience, rewarding careful planning, infiltration, and precise assassinations. Yasuke instead offers a combat-heavy approach that is satisfying in its own way, although it lacks the subtlety expected from the series and can feel disconnected from its core identity. The sheer amount of content is impressive, but repetitive objectives and the oversized map can make progression begin to feel like a chore. Visually, Assassin's Creed Shadows is exceptional from beginning to end. The detailed environments, dynamic weather, changing seasons, and beautifully crafted landscapes create an immersive world that is consistently rewarding to explore. Character models, animations, and lighting all contribute to an impressive level of polish, making almost every location feel memorable. Even when the gameplay begins to lose momentum, the breathtaking presentation remains a compelling reason to keep exploring. Overall, Assassin's Creed Shadows is a good entry that succeeds through its gorgeous world, enjoyable gameplay, and engaging partnership between its two protagonists. Naoe delivers the authentic Assassin's Creed experience, while Yasuke provides an entertaining, if somewhat mismatched, alternative playstyle. Although the oversized world and lengthy campaign prevent the game from maintaining its momentum throughout, the quality of its presentation and the emotional connection built between its central characters ensure it remains a worthwhile adventure. Assassin's Creed Shadows gets a 6/10. For more reviews check my Steam profile Hope you enjoyed my review, god bless you
Very well made and detailed open world game. I bought it on PlayStation and then again on Steam after I sold my PS5. F**k Sony.

I have to admit I don't know what to say about this game or how to express myself towards this game .. i never tought i will ever say this but in my opinion is the worse game from the franchise ! even Chronicles are better ! at least in my opinion...as after 60 h of finish main story and dlc i still feel empty ..no feelings or anything for main charcaters or pretty much anyone in the game ...i didnt feel bounded with any of them and in my opinion if a game is good you should still feel bounded with the main character . My review will be a positive one because i do appreciate the effort and everything Ubisoft did for this game ...and the effort of all those people that are shown in almost Titanic sinking time of credits ! ...later will tell some about what i liked and i don't in this game ..this is just a review an opinion. First of all i will talk about graphics which are good and smooth in a High Specs even medium ..and looks good even in low but still it feels a bit like with all that effort of those people the game still is a bit poorly optimized even if you have it or no on a SSD...but i admit being a SSD make it a bit better than on a HDD. Soundtrack ..does this game even have one ?! i guess it does but not a single song beside a song singed by one of the most important character in Naoe life felt something worth remember....all others games from franchise had at least 5 to 10 songs worth of remember and to be listened even after years and pretty much all other games ever created. Never really talked about this in any game as felt not necessary but here i have to say it ..Regarding the Map..is the worse map from the franchise !! the worse !! terrible !! i do understand that villages and temples looked same in that are of the game ..but they look way to same ... i mean everywhere i went in other games i felt like i am different ..felt alive everything...but here i was feeling like i never left a region same same but different but still the same ...and outside of villages ...is way to much ...forests ..trees ..bruhhh wtf is going on here ?! i am curious if todays forest are still same or if ever was that much in that timeline ..it may sounds stupid but compared to other games that especially newest from franchise that had forests is to much trees ...trees at every cm ...and if no trees mountains ..and sometimes you lookin minutes for find a way to that waypoint sync...i understand accuracy of ubisoft but they ve should have cut half of the forest !! is so damn annoying !! and even worse ...mountain forests ..to much way to much..previous games had forest but you could always see where you go and create your own path but not here ...and in all this forest you barely see an animal ...do you japanese really have nothing ?! or one or 2 animals ...such a dense forest should leave at least 10 species of animals but i goes no. Story ..pff the worse !! the worse from franchise !! and this is mainly because all characters especially main ones feels like they just made it like ...just give me money and let's be done with ...no emotions ...like just plain faces talkin ...rarely you see a smile or a bit of emotions ...i mean why ?! in previous games even some of the most unimportant character had emotions. About main focus of story is a path of vengence ...if you played last 3 games from franchise ..you will feel same ..but much worse ....they call it Assassin’s Creed but i never felt an Assassin ..i felt more of an assassin even in AC Valhalla or Odyssey and those main characters were not even part of a a creed but so is Naoe ...yes you have your hidden blade here but the way you get it and how your game says now you are an assassin is like something made of boring....at least i never felt like an assassin in this game ...not even by end of Naoe personal story.......Yasuke well Yasuke .....same felt like a dead big empty samurai ....no emotions ..noting ...his only involvement with the creed was that Naoe which isn't an assassin was his friend
and later in the game he find his love for killing templars because why not
... i know he had a lot of controversy but in my opinion the game explain and says very plain why is him what is it and so ..so stop hating him ! just pay attention to the story and you will understand plain and clear the reason of why he is a samurai. Another point of the story is that DLC that at begin was '' free'' for pre order and later almost premium edition came and dlc alone is like almost half the main game...but more i will talk in dlc page so if you wanna know my opinion about it click the link and will lead you to it : DLC Claws of Awaji Review Gameplay is different as depends who you pick and love most ..Yasuke a juggernaut ..you always enter through the front door and smash your way to objective and Naoe stealth ...more like a ninja ..or should i say shinobi ...but if you want even Naoe could be a juggernaut ....of course some enemies felt more tought but still ...despite Yasuke that could never go stealth ...to big ..to slow ..to weak for stealth ...also how Naoe knew about leap of faith if she don't even know about the Creed ..despite her being from a line of assassins ..did her chichiue show her like ..this is a thing i do to jump from high places and Yasuke ..well his leap of faith are always funny and feel like something came out from hours from somewhere and just made a mess ; quote : '' to many haystacks anyway ''. In main important quests they always unite and come together and by end you have to chose how to play it ..of course outside of red areas you can always change between them but i feel like is more of a pick your favourite and have fun ...as other than that since no feelings ..no emotions it all plays same ... I know all previous games from franchise followed the same path as go killing so called Templars/Cults but the previous ones never felt like go from point A to B and back at least i never felt it and i played them all. Conclusion: As i said the worse of the franchise .. i never tough i would ever say this about the most beloved franchise in gaming history and even my own most beloved franchise but i hate it ..i hate this game and after i did pretty much everything regarding main stories i will never trully touch again only if one day i will have nothing to play ...call me Crazy but i like all my games installed ..but this game goes to uninstall....I had nothing against at it at begin ..and i truly wanted to experience it and can say i played all games from the franchise but in the end i feel empty ..dissapointed ...unless you want be like me ..don't waste your money on this as even Ubisoft had admit this game is pretty much a failure.
