Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 35/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

All I could dwell on while playing Asylum was my sheer disappointment on how far the gaming sphere has regressed because tell me why a near 2 decades old game has better graphics, more riveting gameplay and story than most modern rpg slop released today. just like how tough times bring about strong men, this game exceeded the quota when it comes to bringing innovation during a drought and being way, way, way ahead of its time.
With the late Kevin Conroy's voice acting, it is truly 'A Masterclass in Atmosphere'. The game is widely considered one of the greatest comic book adaptations of all time. Rather than attempting an sprawling open world, it keeps the action contained within the claustrophobic, gothic grounds of Arkham Island. This design choice pays off, creating an incredibly dense, interconnected world that feels like a character in its own right. Its concise design and lack of filler content make it a remarkably focused experience that holds up incredibly well years after its release.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Much like Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) makes you feel like Spider-Man, Batman: Arkham Asylum makes you feel like Batman nearly ten years earlier. It nails every aspect of being Batman. Whether you're stealthily picking off armed goons one by one or fist-fighting a large group all at once, every scenario is fun. Even outside of combat, the navigation, exploration, and gadget usage are all excellent. You would think a Batman game that takes place over a single night on Arkham Asylum Island couldn't be that good. So how did they do it? First, I'd argue it's more of a metroidvania than a true open-world game. You have a central hub area with several offshoots, but only one meaningful destination at any given point in the story. Then either the story changes the environment or you unlock a gadget that opens a new path. As a result, you're constantly revisiting familiar locations with new objectives and traversal options. They really packed a lot into this relatively small setting. Second, they simply wrote a good story that supports an ensemble cast. Joker is the main villain running amok, but between the opening and final boss, you also face Bane, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, and Poison Ivy. They even include an interactive flashback to Thomas and Martha Wayne's death, which I think everyone is contractually obligated to include in Batman media at this point. Yet none of it feels shoehorned in. Every villain and every major moment feels like a natural part of the same coherent story. None of it feels like padding. Time for a little confession: I played through the entire game on Normal difficulty and didn't understand the combat. I struggled especially with knife and stun baton enemies. Then, during my quest for the hundo, I completed all of the combat challenges that required combo chains and high streaks. That's when I realized this game is a rhythm game in disguise. I spent hours struggling, but then I found my flow. Then I spent a few more hours struggling before eventually scraping together some lucky wins. After that, I breezed through the game on Hard. Even after two console generations, this game holds up remarkably well. I only became interested in the series after Batman: Arkham Knight released, but I was patient and hundo'd them all in order. The sequels definitely expand and improve upon the formula, but I'm glad I started here. And although I would never recommend it, I'm curious how someone would feel about this game after playing the series in reverse.
A história é outro ponto forte.
Bom demais.

It was great even after 10 years. The great part about this game is that somehow the physics engine didn't break at all, maybe some of it broke but a lot of details are still there. The optimize is great and with timeless great combat. The game itself has a lot of souls into it. A lot of art styles and UI is based on comic looking arts with so many references to Batman villains. Also I love the horror vibe of this game. Unfortunately in remastered a lot of the horror vibe got removed and it became more realistic. I enjoyed it a lot but it was somehow shorter than I thought. I finished it within two days. But I cannot wait for Arkham City.
