amazing game with the sole exception of may players. may is a truly evil character with the most annoying and infuriating kit ever, every time i load into a lobby match or ranked or even open park and see a may player my body fills with nothing but disgust for that sad excuse of a good and balanced character. I truly do enjoy this game when fighting anyone else, i could go against a level 10,000 happy chaos one trick pony and experience more joy than fighting a may player. I wish the devs at arc system works could see what an awful character they somehow conjured and instantly ban and kill any and every single may player. No matter how i express myself i cannot show my pure and genuine HATRED for may, it saddens me knowing people wake up and hop on strive to play may and ruin every opponents day. Although strive is a wonderful game i cannot muster up the courage to play this game knowing that may players may be lurking thus keeping my playtime low. (A.B.A player btw, 6'5 btw, Feminist btw, donates to charity btw, saves puppies and kittens every single day btw)
SICK of fighting games having battlepasses, but to implement this when gg as an IP is doing better than ever is disgusting. Nothing is obtainable for free from the battlepass, you only get gold LOL. They managed to let Fortnite be more generous... Game's alright outside of that tho, about a 6.2/10. (If ur a noobie/wanna get into anime fighters this is a really good one to start with)
El metal pesado 🤘 La cerveza bien fría 🍺 Las chicas trans 🏳️⚧️ No lo entenderías 🔥
Works as intended. Eleven minutes of gameplay and I've already made sexual arrangements with another man in the bathroom of a Subway.
I hate fighters, the last one I put tons of time into and got good at was Dead or Alive years and years ago. This game is so damn easy to pick up compared to others that it should be your first one to get into if you want to get into games.
This is a fighting game made by people trying to show off just how much they can do. And it's too much. You got so many system mechanics. "Roman cancels" and "counter blitz" and "wild assault" like bro, I get it, I'm very impressed. But you know what would really impress me? A training mode with usable UI. There's no cohesive vision of what the game is meant to be. They add and remove full system mechanics willy-nilly. It's basically trying to be a high-tier kusogame with every character having over-the-top BS, which I respect, but what that boils down to is most of its players are just gonna mash buttons and use their strong options, like "Totsugeki". Tutorialisation is godawful and it's got typical Arcsystemworks "learn long combo strings off the internet" over any actual structure for learning how to string combos together. As for single player content? Story mode? "Make 'em watch a movie". But hey, we've got style, right? "KO"? Heh, we say "Slash!" when you win a match. Why? Idk, so terminally-online memesters can be insufferable about how ToTeZ rAd the game. Speaking of the playerbase, I tried out the matchmaking and I was getting put up against super high level players who teabag when they beat a level 0 player. Eventually got a decent match against a similar-level player but it was the exception. Shame. I'm sure if you've got the time to learn a mile-long list of system mechanics in order to get to the kusogame, there's some fun to be had, it's just not for me. On a base level, trying to make combos just feels bad and clunky, and most of the appeal — the visuals and presentation — is buried because the gameplay is a confused, undulating mess that you'd only dive into if you didn't know any better. Play SF6, Killer Instinct, hell even DBFZ knows what it is. Guilty Gear is the fighting game equivalent of the guy who uses big words in a YouTube essay to seem smarter than he actually is. You have to learn a bunch of highfalutin concepts only to go in and spam whatever your character's best BS is. Here's a list of words you can use while telling your online friends how good this game is: deadass, pop off, fam, W, finna, drip, bet, catch these hands, bestie, slaps.
no one will read this so I feel safe saying I want to be venom and robo-ky's third and tap that automaton ass every single DAY #bowchickawowwow
get this FOMO blazing pass BS out of here. This is a 40 to 90 dollar game, why the HELL is there free to play monetization in it.
