Perfect game
I love this game, the economic simulation is real fun, and the simplicity of the war front system makes large scale wars manageable. but "The Great Wave" update requires your navy to have sufficient capacity to carry your troops, which is fine, its the double standard that you NEED a specific port in a specific state to actually move your troops to friendly territory. If you've got troops at see and a friendly port gets taken, your troops now have nowhere to land unless you do a naval invasion. that's if there were no other friendly that are coastal. What's frustrating is when there's a clearly friendly state unoccupied by the belligerent, but your troops cant land there for some reason because it doesn't have the double standard of also having a naval port. in my case, that scenario was a east coast port was taken in Mexico, and instead of my troops landing on another east coast state in Mexico, my logistic geniuses find it best to sail around south America instead to the west coast. I would like to station/transport troops to any friendly coastal territory regardless if it has a naval port.
