BEWARE! The game has no story/campaign mode, only multiplayer and vs AI plus it's dead, wont recommend it.
Dont buy this trash. Ever. Not even for 2 bucks. They took away all infantry modes so they get you to play bf6... wich is utter garbage

For some reason there is often not enough people to start a match. Despite AI bots existing, they require 32 real people to start, causing excessively long waiting times. Sometimes, it even has multiple lobbies of 10-15 people waiting instead of one big lobby since the system is so broken. Of course, this would be fixed if EA just made a little patch or actually had a campaign for their game. But instead they decide to show ads for their new game. Don't buy this.
I ain't gay, but I would rather date a dude than play this piece of garbage again.
Battlefield 2042 is one of the most controversial entries in the franchise. Ever since its release, the game has received criticism from a large portion of the Battlefield community, with many players describing it as one of the weakest games in the series. What I found interesting, however, is that many of those criticisms often focus on the conclusion rather than the reasons behind it. People frequently call the game bad, but rarely explain what specifically makes it worse than previous Battlefield titles. After spending time with it myself, I do not consider Battlefield 2042 a good Battlefield game, but I also do not think it is the disaster that some players describe. The strongest part of the experience is the gunplay. Combat feels responsive, weapons are enjoyable to use and firefights remain engaging throughout most matches. In fact, one of the reasons I continued playing for as long as I did was because the core shooting mechanics were simply fun. Whatever problems Battlefield 2042 has, the gunplay itself was never one of them. The problem is that good gunplay alone is not enough to carry an entire Battlefield game. One of the biggest issues is that Battlefield 2042 continues the same trend that I criticized in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V. Despite changing settings, adding new gadgets and introducing new mechanics, the franchise rarely evolves in meaningful ways. The formula remains largely unchanged: capture objectives, fight over control points, use vehicles, respawn and repeat. The setting changes, but the overall structure remains almost identical to what Battlefield has been doing for years. This becomes more noticeable when comparing Battlefield to other games within the genre. I am not asking Battlefield to become a military simulator like War Thunder, nor do I expect it to completely abandon its arcade identity. However, I do expect some level of progression in terms of gameplay systems, vehicle mechanics and overall battlefield depth. Instead, Battlefield 2042 often feels like another iteration of a formula that has remained largely static for over a decade. The game's current state also creates another problem. Battlefield 2042 was designed primarily as a multiplayer experience, yet much of its value depends on an active player base. Over time, many players moved on to other games, while the announcement and release of Battlefield 6 accelerated that process even further. Community discussions are now filled with complaints about matchmaking problems, lobby issues and difficulty finding consistent matches. Whether every report is accurate or not, the reality is that new players are entering a very different game from the one that existed closer to launch. What makes this situation more difficult is that Battlefield 2042 now faces competition that simply did not exist when it originally released. Delta Force entered the market as a free-to-play alternative and immediately attracted a large audience. While I personally prefer Battlefield 2042's gunplay over Delta Force, I also found Delta Force offering a more active community and a healthier multiplayer environment. For a game whose primary focus is online warfare, that comparison becomes increasingly important. The result is a game that I enjoyed more than many players seem willing to admit, but not one that I can strongly recommend today. During my time with Battlefield 2042, I had fun. The shooting mechanics were enjoyable, the matches were entertaining and I never felt that the game was completely broken. At the same time, I also struggled to find anything that truly pushed the franchise forward. Battlefield 2042 is not the worst shooter I have played, nor is it the worst Battlefield game ever made. The problem is that it feels like another missed opportunity. Instead of evolving the formula in meaningful ways, it largely repeats ideas the franchise has relied upon for years while entering a market that now offers stronger alternatives for many players. wanted to try this game out for a long time now, but never was "brave" enough to actually give it a try, but today i decided to try it and i had much fun in those 3 hours. sad thing is that this game is dying, but i will enjoy it as long as i will be entertained and having fun, the graphics here is really beautiful, performance is wonderful, only little problem is how the guns feels but u can get used to it easily. overall this game worth trying, especially if its on sale, and i think this game would be hella fun with friends or friend group. and 1 word for players, please play the breakthrough, its fun
