i enjoy the game
Polecam.:)
I bought this game on a whim, and as my first entry into the Tales series, it was quite an experience. The story is a breath of fresh air because it's darker than your typical RPG. You start as Velvet Crowe, a doting sister to her brother Laphicet, until a tragic event during a 'Scarlet Night' changes everything. Velvet ends up with a demonic left hand as a Therion and sets out for revenge. The mid-game plot twist provides amazing character build-up. Regarding gameplay, the Linear Motion Battle System allows you to map various Artes to your buttons to create your own combos. I struggled a bit with optimizing them and often ended up just button-mashing (definitely a skill issue, haha!). Exploration is the main downside; character movement feels sluggish on such massive maps, which sometimes made me sleepy. Still, a solid game. 7.8/10.
This game is pretty fun as far as the the Tales series goes. The series as whole really has to be taken on case by case basis. The series itself has consistency, well as much as a series can have when its life span stretches over several consoles and platform adaptations, each does things with both a mix of familiarity and mix of new stuff, or rather a new twist on already establish system mechanic or one of it's likeness. I've not played all of them so I can't say if this one is better or worse than the others. I have not even played all of this one, but I do know you should buy this version, the remaster is a waste of money, it offers you nothing new, and I mean that. nothing at all. I would give you the info on what is good or bad about this game but its a tales game. que Japanese rpg Manga stereotype's , standard rpg combat system faire, element, magic swords, demons, crafting, overly linear plot, over the top character, boobs way bigger than physics should allow, fetch quests, some of the most pointlessly repetitive dialog. 7.5/10 Without Prejudice
Totalmente recomendado.
This game is an absolute masterpiece.
