Purchased the game because it has Co-op tag on it thinking i'd be able to play it with my cousins. So if you guys want to purchase this game to play with someone then look else where since both Thief Simulator 1 and 2 are both Singleplayer. This game tags is so misleading.
Rating: 6/10 -Above Average

TLDR:
A cheap looking game with a decent gameplay loop. I don't remember how this appeared in my library. I think I saw it on YouTube and bought it when it was dirt cheap. The game looks cheaply made so I wasn't gonna spend a lot of money on it. I have to say though, the gameplay was good.
Positive:
Gameplay: The game has a small underlying story. I think you owe some cash to a mafia boss or something. You have to steal some stuff for him to pay off your debt. You get sent to houses to steal something. The loot gets progressively more valuable and the houses get more guarded. You can buy new tools with the money you earn. You are able to buy different types of lock picks and hacking devices. You need a certain hacking device to unlock stolen phones to be able to sell them. I like the progression. You start out by stealing toasters and by the end, you steal servers and artifacts. You can even steal cars and dismantle them at your hideout. Houses: I like how every house is like its own puzzle. Before entering a home, you have to find out when the tenants are gone and for how long. You need to stalk them and the game saves and displays the times when they are gone. Another thing you have to find are entrances. Some houses leave a window open, some are fully closed down. You can cut open the windows if the house doesn't have alarms attached to the windows. When you've gathered enough information, you will hit the house in a good time frame. You have to be quick before the tenants return home and notice the burglary. Clearing a house and returning back to the hideout is a great feeling.
Negative:
Bad Optimization: The problem is not the performance. The game runs fine. The optimization measures are bad. The game frequently unloads a lot of stuff in front of your eyes. When you enter a home, you can see objects popping in or out right in front of you. When driving around, you can see trees and houses pop in from nowhere. I have set the game to Max settings mind you. The rendering distance is still low. A lot of stuff just does not get rendered in time. It pops up in the last second. Things that are behind me should be unloaded, not in front of me. I've never seen a game that has pop in and out this badly. It really breaks the immersion. Sessional Achievements: The game has achievements that can only be unlocked during certain times of the year. I don’t know if changing the PC time will let you do them but it doesn’t matter. I don’t like this.
Conclusion:
The cheap look of this game may be deterring but I assure you, it feels surprisingly great to play. The gameplay loop is addicting and the progression is fun. The difficulty rises naturally. I recommend playing it but keep in mind that is not extremely well done. Get it on sale.
мне игра понравилась, украл тостер из дома, после этой игры, позже участвовал в ограблении лувра.

神作。没得解释,越玩越上头,是我阴暗日子里唯一的光
I bought this when it was only 1.68 and MAN. This game has to be one of the best games I have ever played if the THE best. The only complaints I have seen are that it get's 'repetitive' and that the 'car dismanteling is too detailed' and although they are both true, they aren't nececorilly a bad thing. I mean sure, the car detail is above all CRAZY but it isn't difficult and if you want you can skip it entirely and still make some money but i find it quite fun and relaxing. also, the game being repetitive is quite good because the WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME is so that you get better over time. and this is also kinda just wrong because the houses get WAY more advanced quite quickly. overall 10/10 game and i would highly reccomend!
整体不错。拆车辆零部件太折磨了,连螺丝都要一颗一颗拧下来。
