made me tear up

At first, this was going to be a stern review with complaints about the poor keyboard and mouse controls, the 60 FPS lock, the abundance of weird RNG, and the unnecessary obscurity in many aspects of the game, but... you know what? I simply cannot find it in me to complain. While all of the above is true, it is a one-of-a-kind game. Trying to avoid spoiling anything, it is one of those games that will pull at every single one of your heartstrings. One of those games that will leave you staring at the ending credits, trying not to tear up - and playing Asteroids with the developers' names at the same time. One of those games that asks some of the most profound questions about existence and life. One of those games where the characters, philosophical themes, undertones and the story hook into your brain and stay there forever. One of those games where the music imprints itself onto your very soul. Nier Automata is absolutely one of those games that deserve to be called Art. NieR: Automata is worth every penny. Buy it, play it. I hope you'll love it as much as I did.
