- friend told me to get 2k25 to play online with - i buy it - i am too laggy and we never play again - 8 months later i get ethernet so i tell him to play - his online wont work - i play my career out of curiosity - i start my career and put all my points into three point - i start averaging 200 points a game - luka complains to manager and he tells me to start passing - i dont - luka quits - i win a championship - i get 10000+ points in rookie season - i average 60 three points a game - i average 90% 3pt shooting - i win all awards - commentators still diss me - wemby makes a lay up - commentators glaze him - i outscore wemby by 12000 points the next season 10/10 game

i may be dumb for spending $6 on this game but atleast im smarter (hopefully) than the people who buy the same game every single year.

People rightfully complain about the predatory monetisation but as long as you avoid the online trash you've got arguably the deepest franchise mode that sports gaming has ever offered here. The MyNBA Eras feature is so good, literally all of my playtime is in my custom team that I started in 1984 and I'm in 2024 now. Pick up PopBoy's sliders and most of the issues with the sim go away too. Not even much of an NBA guy but if you just want to immerse yourself in a custom team you can't go wrong if you pick this up onsale for like 10$. Oh but please stop making me have to install a rootkit just to use the custom team editor and online pictures, that is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Surely there's a way to only wall off the online stuff behind the anti-cheat.

I've put a thousand hours into this game in 16 months. All of it on the same franchise save that I started in 1983 in the Bird/Magic era. Every game played singleplayer and offline. If you're like me and would rather stick your ding-dong in a pencil sharpener than play online multiplayer, and you like basketball, this game will not disappoint. Most fun I've had with a basketball game since 2K12.

Agora vá vender energético, desfilar roupa e fazer missão de skate antes de jogar basquete.” E o sistema de VC: corta o cabelo: -3.000 VC melhora arremesso: -15.000 VC respirar dentro da arena: -500 VC A IA defensiva dos seus companheiros: 🧍🧍🧍 “Olha amor, o Curry tá livre ali kkkkk” Já o online: lag digno de internet via rádio de 2009 pivô de 2,13m correndo igual um carro da Fórmula 1 armador driblando por 17 minutos até alguém da sua família envelhecer Mas mesmo assim… você fala “esse jogo é horrível” 🤡 e 15 minutos depois tá abrindo ele de novo pra “só mais uma partida”.

Every year I tell myself I'm done with NBA 2K. Every year I somehow convince myself that maybe this one will be different. Every year, 2K reminds me why I should've spent my money on literally anything else. The gameplay itself isn't terrible, but it's buried under layers of grinding, microtransactions, and menus designed by people who apparently hate basketball. Want to make a MyPlayer? Better get comfortable either spending more money or treating the game like a second job. The City somehow manages to make me nostalgic for simple menus. Half the game feels like it's trying to sell me something, and the other half feels like I'm waiting for something to load. The servers are inconsistent, the community is as pleasant as a root canal, and every patch seems to fix one thing while breaking two others. Meanwhile, features that should've been revolutionary are just recycled ideas with a fresh coat of paint and a new $70 price tag. At this point, NBA 2K isn't a basketball game. It's a yearly reminder that monopolies are bad. See you all next year when I make the same mistake again.
