Black Mesa does a great job of taking the original Half-Life and making it feel fresh without losing what made it special. The atmosphere, level design, and sense of progression from the original are all still there, but the updated visuals and gameplay make everything feel much smoother and more immersive. Some sections drag a little longer than they need to, but overall it's a fun experience that stays true to its source material while giving it a modern touch.
This game is what brought me into the whole Half-Life franchise, I now own every HL game and desire the HL3

[hr][/hr] Визуальна игра выглядит просто отлично,музыка порой просто офигенная и гемплей тоже подтянули как минимум до уровня второй части.Играл с большим удовольствием и без напряга.Проделан действительно большой труд что бы игру нулевых превратить в игру десятых годов.Было действительно интересно узнать с чего началась одна из самых значимых серий игр нулевых у которой миллионы фанатов.Отдельным плюсом так же хочу выделить просто шикарную локацию Зен,тут реально глаз радует куда не повернись и везде ты получаешь эстетическое удовольствие. I wasn't able to finish the OG HL1 because its giving me a really bad motion sickness. I got this game because its dirt cheap and I'm wondering if they have options I can disable to prevent my motion sickness to be triggered. GOOD GOD THEY DO. Now I can relive playing this game. Thank you to the people who remade this classic. Believe it or not I haven't looked up the ending of this game so that would be a treat for me.
I'm on a tram. Security guard is supposed to open the door and let me out of the tram. Security guard has a heart attack before opening the door and releasing me from captivity. Eventually I will starve, dehydrate and die in the tram. Others before me have suffered the same fate. Please write on my headstone: "Only wanted to play Black Mesa".
Black Mesa ist die optimierte Version von Half Life. Die Grafik kann sich sehen lassen und die beiden empfehlenswerten Erweiterung Add Ons (Blue Shift und Opposing Force) runden das gute Angebot ab. Fazit: Günstiger Preis und ein sehenswertes Spiel. Ein Klassiker im neuen Gewand. Top.

Muy buena versión, pongo este por encima del Half Life original, especialmente si es la primera vez que lo juegas. La única queja es la duración, Xen es grandioso, pero unas 3 horas se las podían ahorrar.
Exactly what a video game remake should be! I loved the visuals and how it helped guide the player much easier to where they needed to go! the final area is much more of an area and more fun all and all improves the original game for me ! 8.5/10
