Ubisoft making people jump through hoops to play their games.

A great campaign that introduces you to all of the mechanics. Outside of that, the game is pure sandbox. If you don't enjoy setting your own goals or pace, then this game is probably not for you.

The game required me to create a Ubisoft account but it will not accept any password I create following the password requirements.

Excellent city builder and economy simulator. Micromanaging of the supply chains can be a bit overwhelming, though part of the fun anyway.

I bought this game last year when it was on sale at 90% off. I have never yet been able to log in because the third party Ubisoft login system won't let me. I had another go last night and got the same problem. It seems I may have had a Ubisoft connect account from many years ago and I did mange to log into that but Anno 1800 wasn't listed as a playable game. Now I can't even manage to make a new login on Steam because it keeps referring back to the previous account. I'm now in a frustrating loop of logins that get me nowhere. I even tried to get my money back from Steam ($9 is $9 and I don't want to just throw it away) but Steam refused because there is no evidence of there being anything wrong with the game. That is nice of Steam to tell me that, but I have no evidence that they are right because I can't log into Ubisoft to play the game. Ah well. Live and learn. I'll never buy another Ubisoft game no matter how good it looks but for $9 it was just about worth a try, but any more than that is just not worth the risk. PLEASE NOTE: My 1.2 hours use of this game stated above is just the time I've spent trying to log in to Ubisoft after pressing Play in Steam. I haven't actually EVER played any of this game.

I bought this game because it's on sale and I like the time period the game is set in. Unfortunately, I can't play it because I can't log into my Ubisoft account, and I'll be damned if I create a second Ubisoft account to play a game that I BOUGHT. You wasted my time Ubisoft, now I'm going to refund it so you don't waste my money too. Kick rocks.

育碧登陆还是反人类，以前还可以steam账号转育碧账号登陆直接游玩的，不知道为什么现在不行，注册流程也太复制了你要防谁呢煞笔育碧

個人認為全DLC都買的話 是古代城市建造遊戲的天花板 儘管有很多缺點 島嶼太小 物資平衡容易崩壞需要重新調整等等 最讓我無法接受的百貨公司跟工廠不同產線建築外觀都一樣這點很育碧式偷懶 如果沒有這些偷懶的地方這會是一款目前心中唯一滿分的遊戲
