Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 15.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There's a particular existential angst I feel, reflected in this game. Like grocery shopping at a walmart after helping your cancer-ridden mother navigate insurance bureaucracy. Like sitting on the soggy, stained, 40+ year old carpet of a run down singlewide you just dropped 500K on, and contemplating that this dreary moment is blinding levels of success. Its capitalist enshittification, incarnate, distilled into a game. Everything sucks by design, working as intended. There's a moment I like: "Only good things will come to one like you". The rotten smile of late stage capitalism, speaking to its billionaires, its chosen champions. Its a wonderfully crafted piece of punk art, and hits especially close to home with the state of the world these days. I'm not very skilled at shooters, and played it for the "story"; but gameplay wise, its a rock throwing duel between windows. The AI is barebones, but melts you instantly if you allow them to see you for more than a second. You're meant to bunnyhop about at breakneck speeds, deleting targets in the blink of an eye, and its very polished in that aspect. Another aspect I came to feel, is that you're guided to win through "dirty tricks", jank, quick and lazy solutions. The office level comes to mind - you could fight your way up the floors, a long and grueling battle where failing to headshot one guard in time will send you back to the start. Or you could just shoot out the windows, and watch the targets eagerly jump out. Done in seconds, without even stepping foot in the building. There's idiot party, a similar, entire elaborate tower to descend and fight through. Or you can just drop down the elevator shaft and you're done. There's always some incredibly efficient solution, hidden in plain sight. There's probably an intentional metaphor in that. As others have said, an incredible amount of thought and effort went into this. Its a great game, very polished, and truly something to be experienced by anyone who can stomach it.

Never in my life have I consumed a piece of art so misanthropic and hateful of the human condition. And yet, there is a kind of grief in it. From start to finish every person you kill is expressly described as having no value, and they are all parodies of humanity, from bizarre crypto-bros, to gated community funko-pop collectors, to rich people. The one person in the game who stays dead is a random fisherman, in a shed, who has just ordered a fishing rod online. You can't bring him back. I think that the message of the game is something like a grieving"people live like this." Like if you were a shaman in an ancient forest, worshiping the mighty boar, and you were then forced to observe how the factory-farmed pig rolls in its own filth for a tenth of a lifespan, each swine sold for a meager amount. "the sun stares at you with eternal malice"
i don't know how to describe this complete and utter acid trip of a game that is simultaneously a really interesting critique of capitalism, so i'm just going to describe some interesting things within the game, as well as some personal things i experienced. 1. the unabombers shed and osama bin laden's compound are both houses in the Paradise mission, albeit with textures that fit this game's artstyle 2. if you kick the dog enemy in the face it instantly dies 3. there is a guy who took so much testosterone/pill supplements that he turned into a human bouncy castle, that you need to kill 4. there is a rare gun you can get from a slot machine that is incredibly terrible due to being based on a real gun that sucks ass 5. most of the weapons in the game are based on real prototype weapons that never went into full production 6. flesh rats exist, i do not like them very much 7. you can buy a house, and there are three embodiments of god outside of it who you can kill for some cool items and also money 8. there is a stock market where you can also sell organs and fish, the organs are obtained by destroying corpses and picking up what was inside them, the fish are obtained by fishing 9. you have to kill a guy who wants to tax businesses 1% on their earnings, killing him makes the stock market go into hyper mode, so if you want to cheat the game and get the big money you invest all your money into cheap fish, kill him, and then idle the game until you are satisfied 10. death does not exist in the world anymore, and everyone suffers because of it 11. the twin towers are in the background of the apartment level 12. elon musk's face is a hidden texture in the mall madness level, and you can see it if you get out of bounds 13. cruelty squad is just like gorbino's quest, it's kind of like the gorbino's quest of life 14. the sun smiles at you with eternal malice 15. ceo mindset 16. you pick up an onion and begin peeling. anyways go play it its pretty good i think :3
Cruelty Squad is a game you pretty much have to accept you're going to bounce off of, maybe a few times. However, as mean and unfair as it is to you with it's difficulty, it gives you many opportunities to break it in retaliation with insane guns and equipment as rewards for exploring and surviving. The gunplay is tight, movement is *incredibly* fast with bunny-hops, double jumps, jet boosters, etc, and there is zero hand-holding. I think a lot of the frustration can come from how quickly the game tries to alienate you (which is part of the aesthetic, story and world-building) but once you accept you can be as rough to the game as it is with you, it's probably one of the best shooters I've ever played.
"Our planet is rotting yet nobody does a thing. We've been lulled into a deep sleep by corporate interests." Absolute acid trip of a game. 10/10 inflated the stock market with fish and human livers.
Когда, так сказать, слегонца Bъe6aJl зазы и, собственно говоря, подвесил себя на люстру за крайнюю плоть и тд Надеюсь, вы уловили месседж.....
It fulfilled it's purpose, gave me a headache, left me dizzy and was too hard to understand and play. Too punishing too. Only reason why I'm giving it a thumbs up is because it was made for that and I appreciate the effort.
Florida man with severe fent addiction uses intestines to kick the living crap out of elon musk
No matter how long it's been since I last played, it always draws me back in. Though I will admit it's not as good as Gorbino's quest.
