I'm a big Paradox fan but this game is disappointingly bland. Once you learn how to play there's no depth to it. Every nation is basically the same, in game events are few and far between, and combat has little character with no unique units or tactics. Compare this to something like HOI where each nation gets its own focus tree, unique units, and a plethora of unique events. This game has the bones to be great but it's underdeveloped. Recommend waiting 5 years until they release 5-10 expansions that should be part of the base game.
this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dont spend your money wait around sim
Game is indeed very complex, but you learn how to do the basics really quickly. The rest, such as economics and military, you'll get used to while playing casually, it's a very fun game to pass time, but if you're playing online, welp.
best paradox game thus far. 1000h+ and I'm still hooked
