Good game in concept, very bad in practice. There is no roleplay factor in the game, AI dont even try to hide their intension, which is destroy players. Whichever country you play doesnt matter. Historical rivals will come together to destroy you because you are a player.
Charters of Commerce, Sphere of Influence,
The worst release I've ever got from Paradox. Decades of supporting this company and this game has ruined it for me. Stick to Victoria 2!
The Great Wave update made the game unplayable, the AI doesn't know how to play the game anymore and will constantly declare wars it has no chance of winning, as well as debt spiral domestically. The devs have acknowledged that they've made a terrible mistake and released a statement saying that they did not playtest this major DLC. They've promised a free major AI rework DLC, but until that's released the game is not in a state where anyone should buy it.
Ülkeyi geliştirecem çağdaş toplum kuracam diye 2 kere iflas ettim çok gerçekci oyun
Playing as Saxony, Prussia invaded me with the intention of annexing me. I was part of a power block Prussia headed and was actively trading with them. Naturally I figured I should probably leave said power block and trade market but to my surprise the game would not let me, for…reasons I suppose? To make matters worse throughout the conflict I was horrified to find I was, at various points still trading arms and raw materials to Prussia, thus arming them to kill my soldiers with my technologically superior weaponry. I ended up annexed game over. This about sums up the game for me. To expand (although for me the above would be enough): the game appears to be a hodgepodge of clumsily designed systems all of which operate to some degree of failure ultimately making the core loop of the game to “build building, make money” and everything else such as diplomacy, warfare, politics, governance, historical figures popping up essentially is window dressing with no real effect on the game at all. I think the game is intrinsically built on bad foundations and to me seems like the developer had absolutely no idea what they wanted the game to be or how it should be played and no amount of tweaks or converting DLC into core game mechanics is going to fix it. Stick with CK or EU imo, this is never going to be worth it.
