best game ever
Amazing story but slog to get through if you're doing some, if not all the side content. But def worth playing to get all the endings

This game is the definition of a flawed masterpiece. On one hand, the gameplay is very mediocre, and becomes very boring when you replay the game, which you have to to get all endings. It also feels like the game just doesn't respect your time sometimes with all the running around and repitition you have to do. On the other hand, the story really does hit different. Route B had me in tears at multiple points. Route E is actually the perfect way to end the game, since it's all new content which feels really good after replaying the game 2 times, and the ending is just so satisfying. In the end I thought sticking through the sometimes boring gameplay was worth it, and I don't regret a minute I spent playing this game. Can't wait to play Automata next.
Whether you start with this or Automata - everyone should experience them both.
One of the best JRPGs I have ever played. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive, but makes up for it with the well written characters, brilliant music by Keiichi Okabe and the plot is tragic, engaging and memorable.
Music and story so good
