Super jeux rien que pour mon debut dans l'aventure

Норм но баланс на сверхсложном ваще не о чём!
Just like Zero Dawn, it's my favourite video game series but an absolutely terribly optimised PC port, at this point I'm convinced it's just to force people to buy a PS5 to play the game at any reasonable quality at or above 60fps
Let's start with the good stuff: I really love the combat, how every machine has a bunch of different parts that are separately toggleable, and destroying the parts can disable certain attacks or abilities, or even detach and allow you to pick them up and use them as weapons. It's fun, and I hope a lot of games blatantly steal this mechanic. The story was alright, but maybe I just think that because I'm a sucker for sci-fi. The problem is everything else. The game was designed to be playable by, and appeal to, a ten year old with a severely limited attention span and poor reasoning skills. In short, the game treats you like an idiot in multiple ways. Here are just a few examples: * there's way too much loot, and multiple chests tucked into every nook and cranny. It's like they're worried that if you don't get a cheap hit of dopamine from opening a chest every minute, you'll stop playing. * you walk into a room with the slightest hint of a puzzle (which is usually just a vent cover you have to pull off, or a box you have to move) and your player character says things like "hmm... that vent cover looks like it might come off." Immediately, not after a delay that might signal that you're having trouble, which I wouldn't complain too much about. * there are "Vistas" which are partial holographics you have to match to a real world location. Like the photos from Breath of the Wild, only they're limited to a small area marked on your map, and your player character talks you through to the right location. "it looks like a bridge -- maybe I should check out the old bridge ruins by the river" or "this is the right building, but I need a different angle", etc. * there's an early spot where you find a ruined plane from the old world, and there's a black box that contains the final moments of the crew. It's decently written and voice acted, and it was actually a surprisingly somber moment. Looking around the crash site and all the destroyed machines, you can really get a sense for the desperation and fear those characters were feeling as they tried to survive just a little longer in a world that was burning around them... and then your character goes (I'm paraphrasing) "wow, they must have been really scared. The bad guy that unleashed the machines was a really bad guy." In general, the "puzzles" are incredibly simplistic, and the level design, especially for interior areas, is linear and uninspired. The "platforming" sections just require you to press forward and sometimes the jump button. A good example is an early Cauldron (and I'm guessing the later ones too) where if you saw a clips of a gameplay video, you might think that it's challenging: the player is jumping from one moving platform to another, and then to a floating drone, and then grappling onto a ledge... in reality, you just press forward and A, and there's almost no way to fall, and no careful timing required. In short, it's just ten minutes of time wasting animation while you are treated to what I presume is meant to be a breathtaking vista of a robot factory. It's not. It's generic and bland. You have a "focus" ability that highlights enemies and points of interest around you. This eliminates the incentive to explore. In another game you might think "ooh, I wonder if there's anything interesting on top of that building". In this game you scan it and see a chest that's marked as having only common items, and you go on your merry way. The graphics are "good" in the sense that there's a lot of detail. But there is no real art direction, not like the Zelda games or Elden Ring, where. Everything looks... boring. It's a game that was clearly created by a committee, and anyone's personal flair was filed off in order to craft a product that would appeal to the largest common denominator. TL;DR: the game designers think you're a moron. Don't buy this game unless you are one. ---------------- PS: pet peeve that doesn't affect my judgement of the game, because most games don't get it right: the amount of decay seen on buildings and such from the old world, which is supposed to be a thousand years ago, is inconsistent and not realistic.
Graphics amazing by far the greatest graphics I've seen on a PC yet, action is an upgrade from zero dawn multiplied by 15, it's the closest thing to a perfect game for me
