A new dark fantasy Three Kingdoms action RPG from Team NINJA, the developers of Nioh.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 3.75/day in the week after.

Reviews
If you played nioh, dont buy it, even on sale. Its a emptier with lots of copy and paste game compared to nioh, and to be honest nioh isnt that great itself. If you didnt play nioh, buy nioh instead, nioh 1 is a good introduction into team ninja, all their souls games sofar are the same with same assets.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

KOEI TECMO's idea of fun that has never changed since Nioh 1: *The boss should spam it's attacks, deal fast and insane damage, does AOE as almost as big as the map itself, instantly dodge the player's attack out of nowhere *The same 3 maps must be used over and over again with pointless purposes of missions *30 FPS cutscenes *Useless NPC summons *Battle Flag exploration system being tied to your power level should be considered a crime
The game is fun, I was having a good time, but the this game is just horrible on PC, an absolute dog water port. Right now the game just doesn't want to launch anymore and this is not the first time that this issue has happened, verifying the files, reinstalling the game, it even happened before on a different OS (Steam OS), I really don't know how they messed up this so bad. I might finish it if someday it decides to work, but as a PC port, I really don't recommend it. As a game? I think it is fun, sometimes it feels janky and very arcade-ish, maps are not that big and confusing, they are very lineal and the mini-map tells you where to go. The game is hard the first time you pick it up because you need to get used to how janky it feels, but it is not a hard game. Bosses are very fun, too.
It's really is one of those games where Steam need a not a recommendation but also not a not recommend button. Wo Long is another addition to the Nioh Dark Souls like games from Team Ninja that simplified the mechanics from Nioh to a streamlined game that is focus on action, added verticality of the stages and parrying mechanics that is set in China during the fall of the Han dynasty with addition of mythical creatures and monsters. So Nioh in China. The gameplay is fine. But the increased importance that were placed on parrying mechanics is detrimental to the variety that defines the other games like it. If you do not use parry, you will suffer. Block is essentially useless. Dodge is useless. There are no build variety, as in the end, you will still have to rely on the parry and the punishment that it does on the bosses and the enemies. This makes for some really intense battles early on, but it gets stale very, very fast. And this problem, combined with the lack of variety in builds makes the game boring by the time you get to the end. There's also a problem of enemy variety. SO many repeated bosses and the pool of enemies that the game can draw from is so limited when the fun from these types of games come from defeating different types of enemies. And the story is... well... puzzling. For a game that is set in the Fall of Han, they skipped out on a lot of details. What happened to Cao Cao's invasion of Xu province and conflict with Tao Qian? That was skipped. Yuan Shu does not exist in base game (I assume he is DLC). Dian Wei, Xu Chu and the Wan castle, a pivotal point in Cao Cao's story was also skipped (probably to sell as DLC). And the Emperor, being such an important existence during the time was not even mentioned. At least have us do the rescue mission against Li Jue and Guo Si or something. The massive chunk of the game being missing and probably packaged as DLC is just disgusting greed and a signed to rushed release. Then there is the boss design. Some bosses are very well done. Good fight, frenetic, balanced, easy to understand but hard to master. But others are not so. Especially the bosses that takes to the sky, flying around all over the place, teleporting out of reach and forcing the player to wait for the moves that required parrying to counter and punish them, forcing a playstyle that is defensive and reactive in a system that is designed to be aggressive. And the flying bosses really make your camera your enemy, which aggravates you when so much depends on seeing the boss's move coming so you can parry them effectively. Wo Long is a good game. But it's such a slide back compared to other offering by Team Ninja from the same genre that it is very difficult to recommend. If you are interested for the setting, this is not the game for you. DW Origins is set in the same period and give you more details and better story and characters. If you interested for the gameplay, this one is not for you. Even Nioh 1 is better than this, and Nioh 2 just wipes this game without a question.
