Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

This game is simply good for the soul. Idk how to put it, but I'll try. Nearly 34 year old dude here, and been through a bit of a rough rollercoaster the past year, due to family issues outta my control.. Past month that hit a brick wall (won't go into details), but fast forward to the past week: I've had a craving for a city builder to get lost in. Something that many of the others fail to remember while developing their games: It's supposed to be fun. So many hyperfocus on the productivity and refining and basically keeping you engaged at all times, when in reality sometimes you want a city builder that's more like a zen garden. I desperately needed that, and with this I feel I've found it...which is odd to me considering that I usually don't go for the voxel-vibes. Yet as soon as I installed it, as I write this review, I have only about 5hrs into it so far: But keep in mind, that was in one sitting... I love the fact that this game is juuussttt objective-driven that you don't feel like you're totally sandboxed, but still fun enough to keep the soul happy. And if you want "totally sandboxed", you have options to do that, and then even refine the in between to create your own gameplay-style. I also love that you can actually research terraforming and then manipulate the map even further to that effect. So you have a selection of maps to choose from, but then you end up being able to create your own at the end of the day anyway. The ambience is something that I have yet to match either. The lighting + music combo, and the day/night cycle, and being able to decorate each individual property you build.... Idk what else to say about it: This game is already healing a busted soul, and it's gonna keep on that path and stay in the collection for quite a while.

Very cozy, warm, relaxing, chill medieval city builder. The look has some resemblance to minecraft but it's fun to play. The music is on point. I like the french/violin or accordion instrumental music. Not bad for a $30 game. Long day at work? give this a try. 10/10
I feel like I should review a game after I 100% it, so here we are. TLDR: It was fun, and worth the ~30 hours I put into it (my playtime's at 59 for just letting it run while sleeping). Positives: It was fun. It was cute. There is no urgency - perfect for playing while working. Negatives: It can be difficult to differentiate between certain buildings. Sometimes the object snapping gets weird. Biggest gripe: The Mayor Requests are unlocked by certain conditions - there are a few that are specific to the composition of a family at a residence and without stumbling onto it you'll never unlock it.
Impressively complex as the game builds. It's also gorgeous. Some quips/advice to players: - Placement of buildings as they snap to narrower roads is broken 50% of the time. Something will appear "snapped" to the narrow road, and then placing it has it in a different orientation and not connected. Gets moderately annoying in late game once things get dense. - Needs more keyboard shortcuts for common operations and better documentation of shortcuts in the UI. - Terraforming graded ramps into things is possible but tedious with current tools. I have found the best way to be extending the lower ground as leveled and then using the smoothing tool from the upper ground onto the lower ground. With enough passes and tune-ups, it creates a graded slope. - It's hard to see why populations are unhappy. I typically need to drill down to individuals. An aggregate view of missing amenities and environmental factors would help. If this exists, I can't find it. - By mid-game, it's usually easier to pick incoming residents who do have extra preferences because it's like free, bonus happiness (that doesn't directly consume commodities). A resident with an extra, satisfied preferences is 20 pts. happier vs. 10 pts. sadder if they have an unfulfilled preference. I have found that I start rejecting residents who lack preferences by mid-game unless I'm pressed for basic workers. - As a city grows, the decoration mechanic starts feeling too tedious to use in creative ways. So, I start spamming things like ivy on homes (which is a bit exploity, as much as that means something for this game, because of how it doesn't require unique ground tiles). I'd like more very/extremely pretty buildings/things I can use to expensively but quickly make areas satisfy resident preferences. Being expensive would keep some pressure to be creative early game but not encourage decor spam late game.
