Thoroughly frustrating. Lack of functional controls on a modern setup is absolutely ridiculous. Hire an employee? Great. Stop hiding the buttons behind endless walls of tasks that are impossible to complete. I have applicants? Great. You've hidden the controls for that too; that only become visible again if I quit and come back. Dead animals. Great. You've made it impossible to deal with that too because the endless wall of spam is SOOO non stop and so fast there is literally no time to complete that wall of nonsense. Splice a species? Great. Except you won't let me hire an employee for that either. This is and was a colossal headache and waste of time and energy. Normally I love figuring out why stuff doesn't work. This was so infuriating and glitchy I just about tossed my laptop across the room. No thanks.
Great game that I'm obsessed with but unfortunately it doesn't look like the developers are really adding that many quality of life updates. I looked up several concerns I had about the lack of quality of life in certain areas, only to find that people had raised concerns about these things over 3 years ago. Still, I would recommend it as I feel like it is far more approachable and well put together than many other management games. Just don't expect significant improvement to quality of life issues unless the devs decide to return to this game after their next one releases.
This game is very fun. It completely hooked me and made me want to build up my zoo for a couple weeks. (+) morality system, which lets you make a good or evil zoo (+) fun, grid based gameplay that lets you make efficient use of space (+) incredibly fun progression system and skill tree (+) the game choses depth over simplicity and simplicity of depth in the right areas (+) beautiful graphics that lets you really make your zoo look good (-) sound is a big weakness of this game. The music seems unfitting and gets annoying after a while. And the animals make incredibly obnoxious that usually sound like they are mocking you in some way (-) the game expects you to co-habit different animals in the same enclosure. I really really didnt want to do this so I never did. It doesn't have any kind of morality penalty for doing so either which shows a little bit of ignorance from the developer about how zoos work (-) the game really pushes you to splice two animals together to make hybrid abominations. Not only does the game force you into a quest where you have to build the cloning lab, it also constantly forces you to splice animals if you aren't cloning them. Also no morality penalty for this which is really disturbing. (-) way too many animals per enclosure, and they constantly breed way too fast. You will be releasing rabbits daily (-) The game makes it very hard to figure out how big an enclosure you just made, and impossible to tell how much space animals you are trading for take up. This makes it very common to build enclosure that is the wrong size
Adoro este juego. <3
Very fun little game, worth the money spent. I love the genome system A LOT, it's fun trying to get all the animal variations. Also the music is really nice.
Im a lover of the old school Zoo tycoon as well as Planet Zoo. This hits the same itch but also has that indie charm and tries to stand out. I also love that you make one zoo you dont hop from zoo to zoo in career mode like in other games. It has its place but I do prefer this. 10/10 I havent even got to the DLC zoos yet im having too much fun on the base one.
すごく楽しみにしてたゲームだったんだけど 倫理観終わりすぎてて、心がしんどくなった 1日に5匹動物を燃やそうとかいうタスクとか やる必要はないとしてもタスクに追加されてるのがちょっとな~~~~
