When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror. The only thing worse than the blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.

Jeu excellent, histoire excellente
the multiplayer sucks,

I liked Quarry as much as Until Dawn tbh.The butterfly effect in this game is better than i expected but to know the full weight of choices, multiple playthroughs are called for.I went in completely blind for my first run and by probably thinking ahead too much, I got Jacob killed, otherwise everyone survived. The Tarrot Cards, I found 11 of them, 1 of them I would say was of use to me, but I probably would have done it anyway. Generally speaking, the less you know the better. I have to say all the characters are well written, and the comic timings are on point. It's a fun teen slasher with an above average story. good graphics and good cause and effect. A bit dissapointed with the Chapter 10 ending because it felt like a letdown, but if the ending had to be a blast probably a couple of my characters would probably end up dead, so maybe in another run, I would try that. Moreover, the ending montage is a complete letdown, they build proper character arcs, gave us lovable characters all of the 9 counselors and the Hacketts, and then to just show a power point presentation of who is alive and dead felt like a hardbrake on something that was going solid good. The least they could do was do a audiolog/videolog like in the credits of Cyberpunk 2077.Nonetheless, apart from this, Quarry is a grood game to have good fun with. Recommended. 7.5/10 Get it on sale if possible. Edit - Did a replay from Chapter 8 and saved one character that died in my first playthrough.Made use of the death rewind feature just to mess around and exhausted all 3 of them, honestly did not see some deaths coming.Chapter 8 is near end game and even with that I could see a significant changes in scenes because of the choices made, so imagine messing this up from the start.Sure, story remains intact but the amount of bonkers cause and effect would be fun to play. Will play after a year maybe, hopefully.

If there were an “OK” button here on Steam, I would have clicked it, but since there isn’t, I’ll give it a thumbs-up, though only just barely. It’s a movie you can play along with, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I didn’t want to put the controller down. With every decision, you first have to think about how it might play out. But what keeps taking away from the atmosphere is the characters’ gestures and facial expressions. I’m sorry, but the characters constantly move like marionettes and act that way, too. You keep getting the feeling that you’re watching the Augsburger Puppenkiste. Their faces also regularly look off, and you keep wondering what’s going on with the facial animations. The developers really need to work on that. The German dubbing is also pretty off and doesn’t match the mouth movements. Likewise, certain terms used in decision-making seem to have been translated rather strangely, because time and again I found myself wondering what they meant and wasn’t sure whether I should choose that option. The outcome then had nothing to do with the term. In a game like this, where every decision matters, that’s obviously pretty annoying. If I had to give it a score, it would be 75%.
