The Quarry

Just finished The Quarry... simply the best game I've played this year. It was intense, emotional, and unforgettable, really. From the very beginning to the very end, I was completely hooked. I always wanted to know more about the story and every single character. Trying to keep everyone alive, making the right choices, and remembering little clues from earlier in the game that could affect future decisions made every moment feel impactful. can´t go without talking about the visuals, absolutely stunning. The environment, the atmosphere, was really on point. I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I got the bad ending, and I was so invested in the story that not getting the good ending completely broke me. I'd become so attached to some of the characters that seeing everything fall apart was heartbreaking. I fr had to take a break and lay in bed to think about my decisions lol. I absolutely recommend this game, The Quarry is one of those games that stays with you after you finish it. team travis btw

The fact that a game like this does not support Steam Remote Play is actually ridiculous. And it costs a gazillion dollars. Bffr

Очень классная игрушка, в отличии от темных картинок она сделана больше для поклонников старой "классики", тема оборотней понравилась, игра в целом идет проще чем картинки, например из-за измененной, более простой механикой дыхания. По длительности однозначно шаг вперед, как и по скорости развития сюжета. Рекомендую!

Echt gut gemachtes Horrorspiel, man spielt seinen eigenen Film. Auf jeden Fall für alle die düstere Horrorfilme/Games mögen.

Really enjoyed this one. The story was fun, the characters were likeable, and the choices kept me interested the whole way through. It feels like playing through a cheesy horror movie, in a good way. Definitely worth it if you like choice-based games of this nature or if you're fan of the dark pictures games. 9/10

Good Game in its idea, but for a game heavily based on decisions with not much other gameplay to show for, critical consequences feel more often than not, random. Characters can die off without any previous indication, which is frustraing after sinking several hours into the story. On top of this the dialog and acting feels very stiff at times and humor rarely lands. Graphics are however great and the story has its moments. Worth to buy in a sale if you are not really invested in the story and want a short distraction. At full price would not recommend.

Als Horror-Fan hat mich The Quarry echt positiv überrascht. Die Atmosphäre ist super, die Entscheidungen machen spaß und die Handlung bleibt spannend. Besonders cool fand ich, dass jede Wahl Folgen haben kann. Wer Story-Horror mit starken Charakteren mag, sollte dem game definitiv eine Chance geben!
