I didn't believe some of the comments on game stability, but so far I've had crashes: upon loading a save, when fast travelling, when walking around, opening doors, and even just on the pause screen. I managed 4 hours of gameplay before giving up and requesting a refund. In those 4 hours it must have crashed well over 10 times, probably approaching 20. Edit: I hadn't realised 4 hours is too much game-time for a refund. I noticed crashes in my first half hour of play, but thought it might get better. It doesn't! So if you experience crashes in the starting sewer area, go straight for the refund!
the game is good but after so long they haven't fixed the game it runs so badly but they had enough time to release it for switch 2 and forget about those who are on pc just ♥♥♥♥ off
Task-Manager an Game schließen.
roughly 15-20 fps on high graphics roughly 30-40 fps on medium graphics roughly 40-50 fps on low graphics but regardless of graphics settings, whenever im inside a place like a dungeon or a house I had 50-60 fps. outside in the open world, stuttered like crazy as well, so sad. thanks todd.
Terrible optimization. Cannot resolve stutter even with mods.
Never fixed the game and gave up on the community
This remaster could have been great if the Woke Left did not touch this.
Originally I was happy to get a remaster of an amazing game, but there are so many needless changes that I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ despise it now. Most interactable objects had unique sounds, now they all make the same "opening container" sound. A lot of mutilated bodies have been toned down and covered with underwear. And especially the creepy basement of the lighthouse that has the flies buzzing around rotting corpses being removed. The buzzing was so eerie and now it feels souless, like I'm looking at clay statues instead of murder victims rotting in a cellar. Like, why? The sound effects exist and they just omitted them. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible, man. What pisses me off is I enjoy the remaster for it's stability and beauty but now I just want to play the OG oblivion even if it's gonna crash. I do not have nostalgia as I did not play through the original first. I tried them both and found the remaster to just be ♥♥♥♥ because of these otherwise minor changes. It destroys the atmosphere. I wanted to buy this and support remasters, hoping if it did well it'd inspire the corpo's to remaster fallout 3/NV. Now I don't even want them to touch them. Just like pre-orders, I will not be buying another remaster without the community fully playing through it and critiquing it. These are things you only really notice many hours into the game. Really, all you had to do was.... nothing. I'm probably barely touching the many aspects that were ruined. I know it's color was toned down and made brown. I know the denseness and vibes of forests were altered to be empty and not unique. And so many models for important characters were just.... massacred. *COUGH* Vicente Valtieri. Sure the original face wasn't amazing but he actually looked like an eerie vampire instead of a recovering chemo patient. Is it a good game? Sure. If you just wanna swing a sword and be silly it's a fun time. But do you like to get into the game where every character portrait, sound effect and environment is unique and stimulates your senses? Play the original. Really, graphical upgrades are not worth the removal of the unique atmosphere the OG has. I'm sure any oldhead would agree and even hardcore gamers that just played oblivion for the first time would agree. I mean, they even ♥♥♥♥ up the graphics man that brown shade on all the lighting is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ugly as ♥♥♥♥ man. Oblivion wasn't meant to have a realistic color-tone it's one of the most high-fantasy themed games out there man like it makes me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ angry. "Hey we remastered the rainbow and made it dull and brown." A truly monumental achievement. I'm sure Todd would say "it just works!" but it just sucks man. It sucks because they didn't work on it enough. They just threw this slop at us and we all ate it up. I regret the time and money I put into this game. *EDIT* Almost forgot, aaaaand the bugs. Aaaaand the performance issues. Aaaaand the game was abandoned by devs. Actually an embarrassment to Bethesda's whole reputation. Bugs are acceptable. No bug fixes are absolutely not. It doesn't make any sense. This was an instant hit and huge seller unlike games that released poorly like New Vegas. But NV they optimized and fixed bugs and look at what happened. It's now a cult classic. I think a great remaster could even surpass the originals, they surely do in sales. This however is not that great of a remaster.
They need to update and fix several things. Optimization is also needed. Many people cant even run this game on anything but low settings.
Оптимизация такая, как будто в эту игру можно будет играть нормально только в 2040 году
