Abandonware
Oblivion is one of the original rpgs that made me fall in love with the genre. I was one of the many who fell prey to the nostalgia bomb when this remaster got shadow dropped. But, I completely fell off the game with plenty of quests still left to do because of the litany of quest breaking bugs and general glitches + performance issues (including frequent crashes the longer you play). With the Skyblivion team still hard at work and closer to release than ever, there's truly no point in buying Bethesda's (virtuos's) version of the remaster. Bethesda commanded that they abandon this title - just like they did fallout 4 - even as loads of problems remain. The only thing I would recommend is refraining from supporting Bethesda's gross corporate practices wherever you can.
Never fixed the game and gave up on the community
Exactly what you would expect from today's Bethesda.
This remaster could have been great if the Woke Left did not touch this.
I stopped playing after the memory leak issues were already crashing my game at 30 hours, so I figured I'd put the game down, and wait until my most trusted and beloved developer Bethesda did me right and fixed the many crippling bugs that plague this game. Well they certain did me- except they did me in my tight ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no lube included. But it's nice to know they're extending the same treatment to Nintendo Switch 2 owners one year after the initial release. I already had low expectations for Bethesda, but I bought this because how could they possibly ♥♥♥♥ this up? Well jokes on me, and lesson learned. Bethesda should be ashamed of themselves, but they just aren't and its time they've learned a little humility.
Task-Manager an Game schließen.
the game is good but after so long they haven't fixed the game it runs so badly but they had enough time to release it for switch 2 and forget about those who are on pc just ♥♥♥♥ off
Worst release I have ever experienced. Tried it when it first came out, would not let me out of the tutorial and broke my graphics card due to hard crashes. Try again now and it crashes my entire PC and damages my RAM due to the crashes. Waste of money and time. Do not bother with this. Just play the original.
The time-tested nostalgia rug pull. Last time. ♥♥♥♥ these idiots. All they needed to do was add achievement support for the existing Steam version of Oblivion. Simple as that. My playtime thus far has consisted of stuttering all over the map 'discovering' all the location in hopes that maybe these clowns would get eventually optimize (and spending like 4-5 hours in the settings menus trying to find the Krabby Patty secret formula for running this hot garbage) - I'm uninstalling. Enough of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They really should offer refunds if they had any shame (not Valve's fault) - I know they won't. Most blame Bethesda. The die-hards will blame Virtuos. Those diplomatic on the fence will chalk it up to another Unreal 5 casualty. Insert pointing Spiderman meme. Any way you slice this, what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ travesty.
