About
The ultimate roguelike deckbuilder returns!
For 1,000 years, the Spire lay dormant, its secrets buried and its horrors forgotten. Now, it has reopened, hungrier and more dangerous than ever, devouring all who dare to ascend.
New perils demand sharper strategies, relentless cunning, and unwavering resolve. Outwit the Spire’s brutal trials and uncover the truths hidden at its peak.
Will you attempt the climb alone or enlist the aid of your fellow adventurers?
Step into the newly evolved Spire, a twisted labyrinth teeming with strange and deadly foes. Adapt to an arsenal of brand new cards, relics, and potions, each offering game-changing possibilities—or dangerous consequences.
Climb the Spire with a new and returning cast of characters, each with their own cards, motives, and secrets.
No two climbs are ever the same. Unpredictable challenges and evolving strategies await those brave—or foolish—enough to ascend.
Brave the ascent on your own, or play with up to 4 players and face the Spire together in the all new co-op mode. Discover multiplayer-specific cards, powerful team synergies, and carry your friends (or get carried) to victory!

Embark on your quest to Slay the Spire as one of five different characters, some of whom will be familiar to seasoned Slayers and two of whom who are brand new. Discover each character’s unique playstyle, full potential, and secret backstory as you conquer all who stand in their way.
The history of the Spire and its inhabitants, be they friend or foe, can now be discovered in entirely new ways. Unlock fragments of its mysterious timeline and encounter the most ancient of its residents through your myriad attempts.
The Spire truly is ever-changing… in more ways than one. More content—including cards, events, environments, enemies, and more—will be added and balanced throughout Early Access. Join the journey early to be a part of the Spire’s next evolution.
Why release in Early Access, you ask? Slay the Spire's success comes from our community! It sounds corny, but the extra mile many of you went to report issues, translate content/announcements, create long video essays, make excellent (lol) tier lists, and draw goofy or gorgeous fan art is the reason we're doing it all again. We love our job!

All the things you love from the first game but now you can play with your friends! New enemies have cool designs and beautiful art. Highly recommend!
The Grandaddy of all deck builders. Many will come close but this one you have to try at least once. Super fun, and slay the spire!

This game is very very very good. I played Slay the Spire 1, but the game was just slightly off for me. It was enjoyable and I could see myself getting into it, but there were just a few things that irked me that gated the game a little bit. I needed just a few more breadcrumbs to get into it. Slay the Spire 2 has all of that and more. Interesting card combinations, lead to a vast gameplay loop that is enjoyable and entertaining. An easier to read HUD with helpful popups when you hover over status' that explain everything allows for relatively seamless learning for the more complex gameplay mechanics. Interesting enemy gimmiks play into the gameplay loop and attempts of different builds very well. Though some of these gimmiks feel very pointed toward specific playstyles which can be a little frustrating sometimes. More characters add to the replayablity. If you get bored with one style, try out a completely different approach! The art is better and easier to read, music feels stronger, overall direction more focused. MULTIPLAYER adds spice and mutiplayer specific cards create crazy dynamics and call for terrific collaboration. The previous game was good, this game thrives. There are some issues with the game, some balance feels off in places, too easy here, too hard there. RNG can always feel a little bleh sometimes. But no game is perfect and this is still an early access all said and done. I have complete faith that this game will only get better and better with time. This game does not deserve any of the review bombs its received. I've had only fun.
Impossible to play outside of any meta. trying new things gets you one shot in act 1, playing the strat to beat a run gets boring. i want to love it but when enemies are getting exponential buffs every turn, it just kills it for me. i see they tried to balance boss fights but they still suck, but i wont complain its just getting to them with decent health that sucks more. constantly forced to do rest sites, finally uninstalled after getting boned by 4 trash mob roach monsters from full health
