Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 13.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Build your city into the most powerful of all kingdoms through endless combinations of buildings, units, spells, and positioning. Take advantage of chaotic combos and powerful perks to break the game and become overpowered. Grow your kingdom in strategic ways, prepare for dozens of unique events, and show the world your kingdom can outlast all others in both single and async multiplayer.

From humble village to massive citadel, your capital recruits your units and grows their power. Expand your kingdom strategically over time and build it to survive decades of war and strife.

From sturdy knights and warlocks, to glass cannon wizards and bombers, to hordes of fiendish imps and sentient mushrooms, there are dozens of units to lead and fight. Stockpile gold to hire thousands of mercenaries to your cause, use dark magic to raise the dead, and harness nature itself to bring down your enemies!

Each of the kings has a different starting deck of buildings, troops, and spells, but you can loot the rival kings who attack your lands to access cards from their unique decks. Make peace with those whose units don’t fit your playstyle, and declare war against kings with the powers and units you covet, deploying the tools acquired from your enemy to unlock countless combinations of stacking buffs and modifiers to build an invincible army.

Async multiplayer mode pits you against eight rival kings to see whose kingdom survives the longest. Climb the ranks and prove yourself to truly be the king of kings, complete with cosmetic customization using rewards you’ve unlocked through daily challenges and medals earned along the way.
Quest Mode introduces unique mechanics-bending challenges as you travel the known world and face off against its kings to collect their crowns for yourself.
Endless Mode has you choose a king and face endless attacks from enemy kings and their most powerful warriors – how long can you survive the onslaught?
Combine your cards in endless ways – try out insane builds and watch massive armies fight for your crown, survive as long as you can against increasingly powerful enemies, or break the game and watch all challengers crumble before you.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
I do not often leave reviews, but I would like to say something: 9Kings has a very fun and addicting gameplay loop. Despite certain frustrations, I find myself coming back constantly. However, to anyone stating this game is balanced: I could not imagine exclaiming such a blatant lie. 9Kings is unbalanced, and I would go so far as to say this is simply a matter of fact at this point in development. I predict 9Kings will be on an eternal journey for balance and fail to ever truly reach it, though I remain open-minded. Now, I would like to clarify that the balancing issues do not bother me nearly as much as the reviewers/reviews that suggest otherwise. I do recommend 9Kings, especially on sale, but let us not be blind fools. Try it and arrive at your conclusions.

Game is fun for a couple hours until you realize that you have to grind to get perks to be able to face higher difficulties and you are still subject to a ton of RNG. Didn't feel like playing more after ~5 hours. If possible I would give this game a neutral review, after all it's a cheap game and it will provide good entertainment for its cost.
Got this two days ago, and I'm surprised this is still early access. It feels like a complete enough game. A fun little autobattler with a good amount of roguelike progression, and a LOT of experimentation. One thing I'm really impressed by is how active the devs seem to be for this game. Two patches in 1 month is crazy to see from a small dev team. The only thing I'm unsure on right now is Multiplayer. That might be unbalanced, but it's what it is... I didn't even think it'd have multiplayer. 9/10 for me. Only thing that holds it back from being a 10 right now is that the single player difficulty gets kinda easy. They could maybe borrow from Hades and have something like Testaments of the Night for single player runs.
I think this game is amazing in a lot of ways. I have not played alot but I am really enjoying finding out what every king can do and its units combinations. There is alot there, that's good. However I cannot recommend at this point for the simple reason I want to play multiplayer and I did 3 runs now. 3 runs got to around turn 15-20 and then, crash. It just freezes and u cannot click anything. Now a crash can happen. HOWEVER it's a-synchronous multiplayer so I should be able to restart the game. But u can only leave making u instantly last place losing all your gained rank. So yeah the multiplayer doenst work and if that's what u got it for, dont buy it. This might be fixed later ofcourse and then definatly give it a go!
Game is fun on the normal mode, but the negative review is because of the "Quest" mode. Quests are so poorly designed and just not fun to play. Most missions boil down to luck and trial an error, while their design horrid and unfun. Scaling is just unfair and it is always fun to think you have somethin going just for the next year(turn) suddenly an army you wiped the floor with has 5x the HP/damage and kills you in seconds. All this on the "easy" difficulty btw, I've also played on the normal difficulty for quests, and yes, it is worse and just a waste of time. Conclusion half the game is fun (normal mode), half is a game design nightmare, clearly not made with fun in mind, just grind and frustration. Will change my review if the quest missions get an overhaul/rework on how they scale
