Sin dudas este es mi Resident Evil favorito por encima del remake, y en mi opinión el mejor juego que hizo Capcom hasta el día de la fecha. Teniendo en cuenta cuándo salió, las mecánicas que tiene y la propuesta de la cámara al hombro que influenciaron e inspiraron a muchísimos otros juegos, no solo de terror sino de acción en general. El sistema de inventario tipo maletín, el Mercader mejorando tus armas, la variedad de enemigos (los Ganados, los Regeneradores, los jefes, entre otros) y ese balance perfecto entre tensión y acción... Realmente estaba adelantado a su época. Gracias Capcom por dejarnos algunas de las voice lines más míticas del RE: Un forastero 🗣️ Detrás de ti imbécil 🗣️ Welcome stranger...🗣️ 10/10.
While a few of the later bosses are a bit underwhelming, the game as a whole was really fun with an entertaining story! Def gonna check out more from this franchise; I can't believe I didn't give these games a chance before!

im fairly new to this franchise, however ive played re2 remake, re3 remake, re5, re6, and re7 and all great games, been really fun playing the og re4 i highly recommend just may need to download a mod to prevent slow motion/frame drops for this game

had some flaws BUT i really enjoyed this game and loved the improvements it brought with it like better camera system than previous games and more focused on Shooting than running away, its worth checking out especially when its on discount.
One of the greatest games ever made. I am using the HD mods to make it even better in 2026.
