Pumpkin Days is a traditional farming RPG. Pick one of three towns to start your farming adventure. Farm, fish, mine, catch bugs, raise animals, and more. Help fill out the museum to stop a factory from being built on the island. Unless you wish to side with the factory. The choice is yours.

sadly i have to thumbs it down...there are rlly bad game breaking bugs, if they tried finding another person to fix it that would have been awesome but they overall just gave up which scares me because if they make another game which they are would they give up again as well..would hope to see a remake or smth on KS but that won't come this had so much potential but its been wasted
Do not buy this game. They have given up on it. I last played in 2021 and waited for new updates, That did not happen. Not worth it. I agree, get rid of this off of steam or lower the price to free.
GTX 1070, running at 100% constantly in certain map areas that are NOT that amazing looking only at 60 fps? With CPU also running over 60% constantly? Nope. Controls are super janky, movement is weird, game has a lot of love in it, but it's just not finished imo Combine that with the dev sasying they're done with the game and it's a big pass.
This is horrible with a side of terrible. Its very janky, The characters are awful... the story is weird.... Why is the taj mahal hall on the beach? Nothing made sense, Everything seemed way more difficult then it had to be. Jumping is you floating in the air. I only gave it a little bit, that's all it took to realize I like nothing about it. There are way better games for the price.
Don't buy it, it's really bad. Jank. Movement is stupid, and most of all, doesn't start off right to help you understand what to do very well. I don't even know what to do!
Das erinnert so stark an Cube World.
I was skeptical about trying this game at first because development had stopped (as the game was pretty much finished according to the devs) among a few other reasons. I figured if I didn't like it after an hour I could prob still return it. So far, I haven't encountered any major issues or even any minor bugs as far as I know. In fact, I think I'll say this one is an underrated game that deserves more love contrary to my review of another popular game that everyone seems to love. I always say games are way better with mods and such, but this game can still be enjoyed without any of them so you can play your way whichever you prefer and it would still be a great experience. Some say it's not worth the money or it's so bad it should just be taken off steam or even be listed for free, but I don't agree with any of that. I struggle with money nowadays and justifying a new game to add is always an ordeal but this one I can happily say I am so glad I bought it even at full price. I just wish I had a bit larger group to enjoy the game with but my partner and I play together so I still enjoy it a ton. I was also surprised at first by how rude some of the NPCs could be but then I decided to just roll with it and make my character the gayest looking "do I look like I care?" type of guy for shenanigans. As long as you can adapt to minor things like rude NPCs and maybe some slightly wonky movement controls I think you'll enjoy this game!
I tried it but it's too janky and the camera is hard to control. Also I picked the snowy town which had a Japanese theme for some reason and the girl who taught me how to farm was so mean for no reason lol.
Update: OK, well I played on the desk the whole time and it was fun. I honestly dont want to stop playing. I feel like I could easily do 20 or more hours but for some reason im getting 7 fps now. Ive tried messing with settings. This always happened around the museum but now its everywhere. Its too bad. I did make it to year 3 but I feel like theres so much I didn't get to do. So, yes I had a lot of issues with this game but I love all the character options, crafting, tons of recipes to learn. Then you get 3 different seed stores, clothing stores, and furniture stores to check every day. The map is huge though and if you take the fast travel which takes 2 hours to each other major city so a day can go really fast if youre trying to hit all three in one day. I think thats how I got to year 3 so fast. Between the days seeming so short and passing out early, it went quick. Thats another cool thing, It does not knock you out at 2am. You do eventually get knocked out if you dont sleep at least 1 hour within a 24 hr period. It had some cool options, using wallpaper you can make unique fabrics for furniture, curtains, extra walls in your house. This game had unique stuff. Original: No Controller Support... sorta - Ill update my review after actually playing. I found this game does not work with controller, like I cant even move the character. Which is weird because before buying I made sure it would work on steam deck, using protondb website. I just assumed if steam deck works, controller does right? wrong. I did just confirm it does run on my steamdeck so I guess ill keep it. Not Ideal tho, I wish my PC controller worked.
Extremely janky game, took me several retries just to get into it. The game won't ever receive new updates since the dev already moved on to their new game. So far, I haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs, but it is a bit buggy, the camera and controls especially it's really hard to used to. This game is probably the closest we can get to a game with similar gameplay to Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (similar time and farming mechanic), but with more features. Your main goal is to stop the factory, kinda like Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, but you need to help collect tons of items for the museum to do so, like collecting bugs, fish, flowers, and ores for the museum. You can choose from three starting towns, each with a different vibe. There's also a big variety of NPCs in this game (over 100), it can be quite overwhelming to remember all of them. For now, I'm mostly focusing on just one town. This game is a rough diamond with hundreds of hours of content. If you don’t have any other farming games to play, it’s definitely worth a try, plenty to do as long as you don’t mind the jankiness.
