Games like yours — and what they sold. Pick the tags your game would carry, its price and a few release years, and see how comparable games did: the typical one, the spread, and the odds of clearing $100k or $1M.
A comps set is a catalogue filter — the same filter, so the count here is the count there. Only released games are included.
Revenue is our modeled estimate for each game, from its reviews, price and age (see the methodology), so every revenue figure carries ≈. We report the median and the spread rather than the average: in any genre a few hits earn more than everything else together, and an average would describe none of the games in it.
Games we could not estimate are counted in the total but left out of the percentiles and the hit rates. Counting them as zero would make a set look worse the less we know about it.
