Prodeus is a first-person shooter of old, re-imagined using modern rendering techniques and technology. Experience the quality you’d expect from a modern AAA game, designed with retro aesthetics and gameplay that invoke the tech-imposed limits of older hardware.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

I like the game, but the design of the 'economy' was made by a moron. You need a resource called 'ore' to buy upgrades and weapons. That ore is usually hidden throughout the levels, so the game forces you to look for the 'secrets". Which breaks the flow of fast-pace gory boomer shooter. Secrets should be OPTIONAL, that's the whole point, that's why they are SECRETS! But wait, it gets worse. Here is what happened to me. I purchased the super-shotgun and the plasma rifle at first, and later noticed that double jump was also available. Ok, fine, I just need more ore, I'll play more levels and collect more ore. Guess what - those new levels now REQUIRE double jump to get to the secret areas! I need ore to buy double jump, but I need double jump to get ore! Or.. I can go back to the levels that I finished already and replay them and collect more ore. Super fun. Moreover if we zoom out and take a look at the whole system - it's completely artificial and unnecessary. All the weapons and abilities that you'll buy are the essential part of the game! Why would you lock it behind that ridiculous system?? You want people to search for hidden areas and secrets - place some collectables there, something optional! Anyways, I just rage quit the game 5 mins ago and wrote this review. I think I might play more later, but ffs.. Whoever designed that 'economy' should never touch game design again.
gunplay feels nice, enemies are unique, i liked the opening scene where part of the ship basically gets eradicated from existence, the game doesn't run that great on my laptop, so i'll be coming back to this when i get a better pc in the future.
Pretty much a love letter to the FPS giants of old. Enemy design is taken straight from DOOM, with a few originals thrown in. Reusing them in this way isn't bad as the developers have a great understanding of how to utilise them, and you can't really go wrong with the classic DOOM roster. There are some changes, though. Shotgunners are tankier than you'd expect and chain-gunners are now armoured, being able to take much more punishment. Pinkies are also faster and Lost Souls are even more annoying than usual. No enemy is a bullet-sponge, however, and they play off of each other really well. So many weapons. 3 shotguns (pump-action, full-auto, and a quad-barrel), a plasma rifle with homing projectiles, a sniper rifle/lightning-thrower combo, a grenade launcher with sticky bombs, a homing multi-target missile launcher, a revolver that shoots pentagrams (I'm not joking), a chain-gun, akimbo assault rifles, a regular side-arm pistol, an alien lava-globber, a rocket launcher with remote detonation, and good ol' fists. Movement is key. You can run around pretty fast (enable auto-sprint) and you have a double-jump, as well as an air/ground dash. Some fights are really hectic, so never stand still, pretty much all enemies are projectile-based so strafing around them mitigates most damage. The name of the game is to quickly swap weapons when you're empty instead of constantly reloading. A very unique art style, it just looks crispy and fresh. A perfect blend of retro and modern. Fantastic sound design, everything is just ear-candy. It's so satisfying to simply reload your guns and each weapon feels very weighty. Great music by Andrew Hulshult, really gets the blood pumping for the combat sections and the ambience is very tense. Each end-of-level jingle is also different based on how many kills you get and how many secrets you find. The higher the number, the more energetic the tune. The level design is something else. Levels are both huge and sprawling but also intricate and tight, they usually loop around themselves without feeling like you're backtracking. Good stuff. Overall, just a really fun classic FPS campaign. You can't go wrong with this one.
🎯 GAME EVALUATION: PRODEUS
SCALE: UNQUALIFIED = Trash | MARGINALLY QUALIFIED = Below Average | QUALIFIED = Average | HIGHLY QUALIFIED = Good | EMINENTLY QUALIFIED = Super

VISUALS: QUALIFIED A decent blend of retro pixel art and modern rendering. AUDIO: QUALIFIED A forgettable soundtrack. Weapons sounds are good. STORY: QUALIFIED No factor. GAMEPLAY: QUALIFIED Classic boomer-shooter design with tight shooting mechanics, fast movement, and solid level structure. However, the game starts to feel repetitive mid-way through — enemy variety is limited and level themes blur together. OVERALL: QUALIFIED An average boomer shooter with solid presentation and satisfying gunplay. Recommended on sale.

✅ RECOMMENDED (on sale)
Неплохой ретро шутер с прикольной стилистикой но меня не торкнуло.Возврат.Увы
