About
Embark on a heart-pounding journey into the realm of nightmares with Labyrinthine, a cooperative horror game that will make you question your every step. Gather your courage and team up with friends as you enter the abandoned Happisburg hedge maze, or dive headfirst into the spine-chilling case files, where every investigation leads to unspeakable horrors.
Prepare to be gripped by fear as you encounter a variety of unique monsters, each with their own sinister AI and mechanics. Stay on your toes as you traverse the maze's twisted paths and unravel the dark secrets that lie within.

Labyrinthine offers two distinct gaming experiences. In the story mode, you will follow the enigmatic trail of Joan, the mysterious fairground worker, uncovering the maze's haunting history and facing terrifying challenges together.
However, if you're seeking the ultimate test of bravery, venture into the case files – procedurally generated mazes that promise endless variation and escalating difficulty. Each investigation reveals new horrors, forcing you to adapt and strategize with your fellow players. Solve puzzles, gather essential items, and survive the nightmarish encounters that await.
As you delve deeper into the case files, you will discover a leveling system that unlocks not only new monsters and maps but also rare cosmetics.
With cooperative play at its core, Labyrinthine encourages teamwork and communication to overcome the malevolent forces that lurk in the shadows. But be warned, in this maze of terror, splitting up may be your only chance to stay one step ahead of the lurking evils.
If you are a true horror enthusiast, Labyrinthine promises an experience like no other. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of dread and anticipation as you navigate the ever-changing maze, surrounded by the unknown.

купила копию себе и парню, который нравился. юноша ушел, игра осталась. смотрю на нее и плачу, поэтому дизлайк
The game is dead, only 72 people are online, no lobbies are open, and no one has joined my lobby either. Plus, the game is crashing. I'm getting a refund.
Lost in this lost world. I'm wandering around like a lost soul.
Not scary at all. Annoying puzzles. No Map to navigate. Monsters that kill you instantly on sight. Can't imagine how glad we were to uninstall this game.
I really enjoyed playing Labyrinthine. I played it with my best friend, and it turned out to be a great experience. The puzzles are well designed, and since the mazes and mosnsters are always randomly generated, there’s never just one way to solve each case. Every run feels different. You can definitely get a good scare if you’re fully focused. It’s not overwhelmingly terrifying, but it creates a very mysterious and unsettling atmosphere that keeps you on edge the whole time. Getting all the achievements (platinuming the game) can be a bit tedious, since you need multiple playthroughs and a good amount of time invested. However, playing it together from start to finish made the whole experience really fun and memorable.
I prefer Labyrinthine over most horror games like Phasmophobia, Pacify, Panicore or Outlast Trials. With games like those the gameplay loop is scary at first but gets very predictable fast. In the first hour or so you've already experienced everything the game has to offer. It's really boring when you're dead too. Labyrinthine is different because not only does it include puzzles, mazes, different monsters for you to overcome with your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ friends, each level is definitively unique compared to each other in terms of traps, scenery and layout. It knows how to keep the gameplay interesting without being blatantly tedious. You have to pay attention to each one as they have different mechanics. There are traps that will separate you from the group. Feeling confident with your friends? Now you're alone in the darkness with a monster tracking you and you have to use your brain to get back. There are background monsters spread around the map in addition to the main monster to keep you tense. I only have 18 hours in the game and finished the story, but that was time actively having fun with my friends making a golden experience. I can't wait for Valko's new release.
This is probably the best labyrinth game on steam ever, for some reason not so many people play it tho. A few optimisations could be making the interface for case files bigger, sometimes (actually often) i cannot see what is written there, like nothing. Also some sort of map information would be helpful, i aint gonna set 30 map icons in my head and what they contain in it, kinda the same goes with the entities, could be fixed with some tooltips. Other than that, this game is really great for coop gameplay, playing the story is really fun and sometimes even funny, the puzzles are also well made. Case files can get repetitive after like 50 times, and i HATE theese ghost entities because they are basic to invisible and scream in a volume that my ears are bleeding, meaning i cant put on some music while grinding levels. Still i love this game, idk why it doesnt have that big of a player base, because the concept is pretty fun i probably said everything fifty times in this review but idk better than one line saying great game love it
Perfect co-op horror if you like getting lost and panicking with friends. The atmosphere is genuinely creepy and the game really shines in multiplayer. That said, some of the puzzles can be confusing and start to feel repetitive after a while. Solo is rough, but with friends it’s still a fun, chaotic experience. Expect a lot of screaming.
