Great Game
gud
This game is like if they kicked you in the nuts every time you want something to go well Its fun
Pros

Story - The story is easily the best part of the game. It starts pretty simple, but the more you play, the more depressing and morally complicated it becomes.
Characters - The main cast is great. Nier, Weiss, Kainé and Emil all have very different personalities, and the banter between them makes the journey much more memorable.
Music - The soundtrack is incredible. Probably one of the best things about the entire game, and a lot of emotional moments hit much harder because of it.
Voice Acting - I played it with English voice acting and it was very good, especially Kainé and Weiss.
Combat - The combat is leagues above the original version. It still doesn't have the same depth or fluidity as NieR: Automata, since Platinum Games did not develop this one, but it's essentially a slower and more basic iteration of Automata's combat.
Visuals - The game looks much better than the original, especially the character models and lighting.
Boss Fights - Most of the fights are pretty memorable, mostly because of the music, presentation and the context behind them. They are not hard nor mechanically complex, but the way they make you feel is something else.
The mermaid/Louise
is the best example. In my opinion, it's the most complete boss fight, the most emotional one, and it has my favourite soundtrack in the game, "Fleeting Words".

Mixed

Multiple Endings - Like most Yoko Taro games, you need to get multiple endings to fully understand the story. This game is more repetitive than Automata, since you have to replay the second half a couple of times, there's no chapter selection and there's only one playable character.
Side Quests - Some side quests have interesting little stories, but most of them are just basic fetch quests. There are some important side quests to complete since you can unlock weapons or extra character scenes.
Optimization / Technical - The game runs well, but the settings menu is very basic and the game is capped at 60fps.

Cons

Repetition - One of the biggest problems with the game is how much content you need to repeat to see everything. The new story context helps, but the difference ain't that big.
Pacing - The first half of the game is really slow, since you are mostly doing side quests and travelling back and forth between the same locations.
Gardening - There is a little garden where you can grow flowers and vegetables, and it's time-sensitive. Some quests need items that only grow there, and if you want to grow a Lunar Tear, be ready to get a PhD.
Side Content - A lot of optional content feels outdated, most of the quests are just collecting items or talking to NPCs in different areas.
Balance - Some weapons completely destroy the game balance. Just grab a Phoenix Spear and delete every enemy from existence in a few seconds.

Verdict - 9/10
NieR Replicant is a beautiful, depressing and very memorable game. The story, characters and soundtrack are easily the main reasons to play it, and they carry the experience even when the gameplay starts becoming repetitive. I recommend it if you like emotional story-focused games with a strong melancholic atmosphere. If you hate repetition, basic side quests or replaying parts of a game to get the full story, maybe think twice before playing it. Not perfect, but definitely worth experiencing.
Utrashain aforen zhekuraswa Towa ihatosei, ihatosei tsufralai - Song of the Ancients

Amazing story but slog to get through if you're doing some, if not all the side content. But def worth playing to get all the endings
