Jagged Alliance 3

How there are not more Co-op games like this is absolutely beyond me. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good at what it does. Since PVE games are on the rise, with games like Baldur's Gate bringing new life to turn based combat games, I hope more of these type of games come to light. Laughing hysterically at the absurdity of missing a shot from one tile away is an experience much better shared. As for the mechanics, those are easily enough learned, and the characters have their own charm and strengths. There is some micromanaging to do with economy and movement, so there's that. It wasn't my favorite part of the game, but I can understand why it's there. You could play this alone, but I recommend it with a friend. There are some desync issues periodically, but they are resolved easily enough.

UPDATE: installed some mods to address some of my initial issues and gave this another shot. Really do like parts of this game, and would recommend with the huge caveat that mods are a must. ORIGINAL: Fun at first, then becomes a chore. I'm sure there are mods to fix some of these things, but there are just way too many random and tedious things going on in this game. Inventory management is a nightmare, RNG can be insane (enemies randomly get more moves, you can fail to even modify your weapons, etc) and it just took me right out of the turn-based gameplay that I actually like. The game's story/setup is actually good, but these mechanics just wore me down.

grand fan de jaggeld alliance 2 (j'y joue depuis plus de 26 ans) je retrouve cette ambiance unique et beaucoup de persos récurrents.

Sadly co-op only for 2 players.
