As one of the last surviving members of his clan, Jin is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

♥♥♥♥ this game and ♥♥♥♥ the developers. Hope they all die in a pile of ♥♥♥♥. My stupid ass game got bugged or some ♥♥♥♥ and made it so the final boss fight he was able to just kill me instantly with any hit. Made the final fight last way longer than needed. For that reason alone it ruined the entire game for me with how pissed it made me. ♥♥♥♥ you guys. And my cat Binx said ♥♥♥♥ you guys aswell. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

After more than 300 hours of gameplay, completing every single objective available in the base game and the "Legends" mode, as well as unlocking every achievement in both, I feel like I've fully understood why this game became such a huge success. I'm confident in saying that this is yet another small masterpiece from PlayStation, and not just because of its story. First and foremost, one of the game's greatest strengths is the breathtaking biodiversity of Tsushima Island. From vast pampas grasslands to fields covered in red lilies and purple chrysanthemums, where intense duels unfold; from forests painted in brilliant golden and warm autumn colors to harsh, frozen landscapes, every corner of the map has its own distinct identity. The game does an outstanding job of blending so many different biomes together in such a relatively compact world without ever making them feel out of place. Beyond its stunning scenery, another aspect that deserves special praise is the combat system. It's easy to learn the fundamentals, yet surprisingly deep to truly master. I loved the wide variety of tools and equipment available, allowing every encounter to be approached in different, increasingly strategic ways. Enemy variety is another highlight that kept the gameplay engaging throughout my many hours of playtime. Every stage of the story pits you against different factions, but it's the mongols that truly stand out thanks to the diversity of their units: basic sword-and-shield soldiers, fire-arrow archers, heavily armored spear captains, and brutal ax-wielding brutes are just a few examples of the many enemies you'll have to overcome during your journey. Of course, the game isn't without its flaws. In my opinion, the excessive reuse of character models for many minor NPCs eventually becomes noticeable and repetitive. Many of them lack personality and meaningful characterization, making the world occasionally feel not empty, but slightly lifeless, which ultimately hurts immersion. Another downside is the permanent closure of many areas once their related missions have been completed. Unless you resort to exploits, it's impossible to revisit most castles and several forts encountered throughout the story. I would have appreciated the chance to return to these locations, interact with any remaining characters, observe how the world had changed because of my actions, or simply explore them freely. Instead, you're usually met with a locked gate and a completely deserted environment, almost as if every trace of your accomplishments had been erased. Finally, having spent many hours in "Legends" mode as well, I feel compelled to point out one last weakness. During multiplayer sessions, I found myself wishing for a greater variety of gear obtainable through the loot system. Considering how technical and versatile the combat is, I believe a broader selection of gear and perks could have made the mode even more rewarding by encouraging greater build diversity and experimentation.
This game is absolutely beautiful. It is not often that I pause in a game to make screenshots, but I found myself hitting F12 constantly in this game. At the time of writing, I have finished the base game and did all sidequests and found all collectible items. I have not tried the online mode yet, though, and still need to finish the Iki Island DLC. The good: - The game looks and sounds absolutely amazing - The fighting is really great, giving you many options to aproach each battle. You have a good bunch of quickly throwable weapons to play around with that incapacitates the mongol soldiers or hides you in smoke, you unlock 4 different sword stances that allow you to break the defense of an opponent dependent on wether it's a big guy, a sword fighter, a spearman or a shield bearer, you get two different bows as well as a seperate few throwable items that require you to aim. - You feel really overpowered at times, but a few blows of the opponent can quickly kill you. - The action is at it's best if you parry and dodge attacks. This is not a soulslike, though, the parry timing is very forgiveable. - You can pet foxes, monkeys and cats - Loads of unlockable armor, headgear, masks and horse saddles - The game is very minimal with it's HUD. Instead of following an arrow, you follow where the wind blows. If there is a secret nearby, you can follow a firefly or a golden bird to find it. This was incredibly immersive. The bad: - While it's a lovely open world, it has the same issue as many open worlds have, in that it is filled with repeated events. Rescue all hostages from a camp, do a little uncharted-like climbing sequence to reach a shrine, follow a fox around, do a button combo to cut bamboo etc. It doesn't have the kind of variation that The Witcher 3 had, for instance. That said, I only started to feel burned out on it in the latter 1/4th of the game. Considering I got 83 hours on it so far (mainly because I didn't use the teleport all that much), it's not too bad. - I felt the stealth gameplay was a bit easy, with enemies taking a while to spot you and clear arrows appearing if they might. - You unlock the entire skill tree and will be able to upgrade all your gear long before you reach the end, meanwhile, due to it taking flowers, you won't nearly have all cosmetics unlocked even after 100%ing the main game. It would be nice if it was a bit more balanced. - The story felt a bit cliche, although the main cast of characters was great. I liked their character depth and individual stories despite nearly all dealing with their pride and their past. All in all, a great experience. I loved getting to know the island of Tsushima and I hope I get to pet more animals once I get around to the Iki DLC.

9/10 Only gripe is that Legends doesn't work on Linux
