** Abandoned and Unfinished ** The publisher has abandoned this game, saying that it is too expensive to finish and they do not have time to go any further with it. Instead, they are focused on another new game, and want everyone to instead purchase it. This publisher has abandoned this game, but yet still charge full price to new gamers and rake in the profits, not intending to finish this game. They are very apologetic about not being able to finish this game, yet leave it up on the store at full price for more and more people to buy. If they game is dead, remove it, stop scamming people into buying your product that you have thrown out. Great start to this game, really loved it and have been waiting for a long while for them to finish it. But it seems all they are focused on is money, not the fan base. Avoid this publisher and do not support them, they sure dont support the fans, and only want your money.
I was pleasantly surprised by Eternity Warriors. https://youtu.be/nJ2BRzRwE40 I thought I was going to be put off by the lack of locomotion option but I think they managed to do it well. The combination of gameplay pacing and mechanics have you twisting, turning and moving in room scale quick enough that you somewhat lose track of the wanting to run over and throttle that damn archer..... sorry. Got away from me for a second... The game is pretty. That's definitely something its got going for it. The audio was pretty well done as well. There were a tone of achievements for achievement seekers. Pretty much everything I did resulted in some form of achievement. They may even want to scale that back IMO. It seemed a bit too easy to 'achieve' some of them. If I were to gripe about anything it would be the lack of an explaination that each weapon set has it's own set of missions. It wasn't overly obvious at first. I eventually figured it out but a bit more upfront and in your face would be nice. On that same vein, the 'different' levels for the different weapons/classes were just different spawns on the same map you just played. If we're going to say these are entirely different levels then I would like to see the devs go all in and actually make different levels for them. Obviously the lack of locomotion is going to be a big hit to this game. At this point, a year and a half post consumer vr launch, most of us expect the ability to walk around in some way, shape or form. There's probably going to be a lot of backlash from this design decision. Again, I think the frantic pacing of the gameplay and the fun of the Warrior class makes up for it but that's just my opinion. The gunner class was another story. It wasn't nearly as fun and being able to bob and weave behind cover would have been a bit more interesting I think. All in all, I like what these guys are going for. Good visuals, audio, menu system and combat mechanics but most of all, it was fun. I just wish they didn't have the locomotion black eye. Still, it will get a thumbs up.
This game really surprised me. I did not think i would enjoy it. Another wave shooter and a no locomotion wave shooter at that. And the first few waves seemed to confirm my misgivings. But oh my, how the difficulty ramped up and how the variety of enemies increased. It seems the gates of hell have opened and every manner of demon has descended upon you. You're getting attacks from all angles and you're dodging, blocking, melee-ing, and shooting seemingly one after the other, non-stop action. And that's normal difficulty after just a few waves. And you feel like a boss after surving that unholy onslaught. Then you're faced with the last boss of the wave. And you get wrecked. You think of restarting but you're sweating all over. Damn that was fun. Gonna have to try that again tomorrow. Maybe I'll try the guns tomorrow instead of the bow and arrrow. That sword and board seems like an arm injury waiting to happen so I'll save that for last. You go back to the main menu and see all the trophies you have yet to earn. Not sure I can do that, but it'll be fun trying. Rating 8/10 one of the best wave shooters no doubt and the 3 classes all play differently
I wonder how this game got it's mostly positive rating. This game is overwhelmingly boring - you just stand in one place and shoot waves of slow enemies. Yeah, graphics is not bad, but the gameplay is extremely lackluster.
Game is fun but i do not recommend it as the devs abandoned the game. Just putting this out there for people to see
In the current VR market, this game is exactly what you're looking for. Total immersion right out the gate. The graphics are superb, the sound quality is top notch, and immersion is consistently satisfying! This is your basic wave "shooter" ... wave slasher? Wave killer? You know what I'm talking about. You choose a class; warrior, archer, gunslinger; and then spend about 2-5 minutes killing or being killed! With a cherry-on-top boss at the end just to see if you were actually trying. ;P "Warrior" comes with a satisfyingly massive sword, a shield to block/parry attacks, and a freaking gauntlet laser! "Archer" gets explosive arrows, laser guided swarm shots, personal time-stop bubble, and a close-range lingering AoE! "Gunslinger" gets a revolver with laser sight and a shotgun, neither of which need reloading! The shotgun can produce a small temporary magical shield to help cover your flanks! No matter what you pick, this game is straight forward kill-sh*t-arcade-fun. You don't need to move your character around, as you stay in one place and hold your ground for 1-2 waves before teleporting off to the next section of the area. You get a limited amount of potions to use between waves for a health recovery if you need it. At the end you'll fight the boss of the area before receiving your score and a trophy based on your performance. In multiplayer your team is spread out with varying vantage points (seems random who gets which spot). There's no ingame voicechat as of this review, which is a shame for pickup groups, so you'll want to hop on a VoIP provider with friends. This game has a Discord channel which I recommend for playing with strangers AND having voice chat. A certain must-play for anyone needing to take out some anger or just wanting to have some VR fun! PS, Hunter OP :P
请问该游戏前几天无法联机玩,今天试了一下,连游戏都无法启动,请问原因并怎么解决?
Run-of-the-mill VR wave shooter abandonware. I have no idea why this has a "Very Positive" rating on the store page. There are 3 weapon types available (melee, bow, gun) with 2 variations. Each weapon type has two unique stages (six total) and that's it. This is possibly the most boring wave shooter I've ever played; you rarely move and are often just waiting for enemies to spawn. A few weapons and armors are unlockable but they're very grindy. The game hasn't been updated since May (seven months prior to this review) and appears to be completely abandoned. The company's website hasn't been update since the cancelled tournament planned for this game in January and their Twitter and Facebook have been dormant since Sept, with only sparse posting before that. Early Access was a mistake. This is little more than a tech demo and I wouldn't even want to play this in a VR arcade. The only reason this game ended up in my library was because it was cheaper to buy a bundle it was included in than to buy the game in the bundle that I wanted (Sairento). Do not support this game.
It's not an action/adventure game. It's a wave defense game. And it's not very much fun after about a half hour. I think the game would be improved if the devs would allow movement throughout the arena.
