Bastion

Played a few years back and I decided to play it again so I could 100% the achievements since I only had about half of them. I was very annoyed to learn that after I beat the game, and did several things that should have gotten an achievement, nothing happened. I don't have mods, and I've tried reinstalling, and doing a bunch of things, nothing changes it. The game simply doesn't let you get achievements anymore.

decent game hard carried by the narrator

Soft recommend for this game. The combat is fairly repetitive and outdated by today's standards and while the idea of using a narrator for the entire game is cool, it does get annoying when the narrator only talks in a certain way and not with more emotion as per the scenario. But it is cool to see how Supergiant started with ideas that became a staple for their later games like hand-drawn art, good lore and of course, great music by Darren Korb.

its like the alpha of Hades one , simple and basic gameplay even the story is decent enough for a game that was made in 2011 playing it now it deserves the respect.

Pros(+) ++ very good music + somewhat challenging + lots of upgrades Cons(-) - hate falling - meh ending - too many weapons, but only limited to use 2 weapons... Score : 78% (B tier)

Recently finished a 2nd playthrough after my first in 2011. My playtime is a bit weird, it only recorded 2 ish hours of my playthrough then. First playthrough was about 9 hours with about 100ish minutes of voluntary grinding and leaving the game AFK. Big fan of all Supergiant Games and this has aged decently well. Got a good story and fun simple gameplay. Doesn't overstay its welcome. You can see the germ of the later titles like Hades in this, with earlier versions of the mechanics that have not yet been fully fleshed out.
