Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

I full 100% completed this game on the 3ds and im now working on 100% on pc, one of my favorite games of all time and this game literally changed my life

Ive been aware about Yacht Club not doing too well on money, so I waited for the games to go off of sale when they were on sale, and bought all of them at full price, Treasure Trove, Dig, Pocket Dungeon, and all of the standalone games from Treasure Trove, I luv this game company so much and even if it doesnt help that much in the long run, for lack of better words, I still wanna help as much as I can, I 100% this game on Switch a few years ago and will be doing it again with all of these now, this is truly an amazing game and I cant recomend it enough, and Im so excited to start playing Mina The Hollower as well, and exciteed buh again for Shovel of Hope DX, Tinker Knight is my favorite character and I cant wait to play as them in a way thats not Showdown, a big thenk yu to Yacht Club Games for still making incredible games, and I really hope this can help, even if just a lil bit

I remember this game being a download only in the 3DS eShop. Man, how far it has went. ..It's a shame really... We're never getting a Sequel.

Скрипя зубами и проглотив обиду, я ставлю палец вверх и рекомендую эту игру. Для казуального прохождения она около-шедевральна. Вариативная, красивая, а какая тут музыка! Даже если вы не любите платформеры (как я), поиграйте в Лопатного Рыцаря, он стоит копейки на распродаже. В Treasure Trove включена основная игра и 3 сюжетных DLC, размером с оригинал. Плюс, бравлер (но он прям meh). Разработчики максимально душевные ребята, они заслуживают максимальной похвалы. И немножко (множко) хейта от ачиверов. Окей, всем адекватным людям моя стопроцентная рекомендация. Для таких же больных, как я — подумайте сто раз, прежде чем соваться сюда. Игру вам придётся пройти раз 5 с разными условиями, а потом ещё три раза по 3-4 раза для закрытия DLC. Герои разные, их механики достаточно сильно отличаются, чтобы было интересно для одинарного прохождения, ВОТ ТОЛЬКО УРОВНИ-ТО ОДНИ И ТЕ ЖЕ. Таким образом, зачистка локаций по 15-20 раз (а ведь есть ещё коллектаблсы) вам обеспечены. Плюс, только при прохождении без прокачки ты понимаешь, насколько неудобное тут управление, насколько много в игре рандома, насколько плохо читаются некоторые атаки больших боссов, и насколько чип-тюновская музыка выедает мозг. Я просто ненавижу эту игру. Я просто обожаю эту игру. В Мину ни ногой, извините.

Mina The Hollower is out, and I want Yacht Club Games to survive, so I feel like I should write a review for this masterpiece that I played many years ago. In short, if you like retro 2D platforming, you should play these games. This is a collection of 5 amazing games including: [list] [*] [i]Shovel of Hope[/i]: Classic Medieval adventure. It's heroic and glorious. [*] [i]Plague of Shadows[/i]: Pretty much the same game as Shovel of Hope, but you play as a wicked alchemist instead of a respected hero. [*] [i]Specter of Torment[/i]: A very bitter prequel to Shovel of Hope. You play as a talented adventurer enslaved by the dark queen to help her build her evil empire. [*] [i]King of Cards[/i]: A parallel story to Specter of Torment. You play as a selfish but clever jerk who wants to become rich and powerful. Alongside the action adventure, you also get a full-fledged card game. (The card game is optional. You can complete the main story without touching it.) [*] [i]Showdown[/i]: A multi-player fighting game. All main characters are playable, as well as some iconic side characters. [/list] Every single game plays and controls really well. Some can get challenging at times, but is never unfair. Your character grows with you as you gain new skills, armor and allies along the adventure. The stories are well written and crafted with care. And the music. Ah, the music. It's 8-bit music, but it does extremely well to establish the atmosphere. Every main character has a theme song with at least 3 variations (one boss theme, one stage theme for the "Shovel of Hope" time, one stage theme for the "prequel" time), and as a musician, I can certainly say that every variation tells a lot about the character - what kind of person they are, and how they feel about the current situation they are in. I even bought the sound track and studied them. I hope my play time can convince you that these games are really, really good. The survival of the studio depends on their sales in the next few months, and I really hope they can make it. If you like 2D platformers, please do consider giving these games a try.

おすすめはします 音楽、レベルデザイン、プレイ感覚、アートワーク、コミカルなビジュアルに反していい感じにシリアスなストーリー、どれもすばらしい すばらしいんですが… レベルデザインのたどり着く先が 落とし穴と即死しかないゲームにたどり着いてしまう 即死、即死、一撃死、即死 その一つ覚え どのシナリオも同じ　結局、即死を連発するルートを用意するだけ なので、後半のプレイ感はかっっっなり　不快　なレベルになる ボス戦ですら即死トラップゲーになってくるので、まるで素人のつくった高難易度マリオをやらされてる感になって どんどんつまらなくなっていった とはいえ…おすすめはしておくという感じである [追記] やればやるほどゲーム性がカス　人気が続かなかったのも納得の出来である とにかく馬鹿の一つ覚えにイライラ棒をさせられるだけの難易度の上げ方しかできない これだったらライフいらねーだろって感じである さすがにストレスがここまで上がるとおすすめしないの方に寄ってしまう

It's a good game if you don't mind instant death jumping puzzles with unforgiving controls.

Played this forever ago when this game released and it is the cream of the crop, with all the free DLC that was promised due to the Kickstarter doing so well made it even better. Make sure to play this in preparation for Mina The Hollower in a few weeks!
