Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

[h1]Pros:[/h1] ✅ [b]Left 4 Dead style gameplay, but focused primarily on melee combat.[/b] ✅ [b]Tons of missions to choose from + plus two survival maps (some missions and survival map are DLC exclusive).[/b] ✅ [b]Set in the Warhammer universe, with plenty of lore to discover by collecting lore pages.[/b] ✅ [b]The game can range from easy to very challenging depending on the difficulty you choose (you can also collect tomes and grimoires, which make missions even harder).[/b] ✅ [b]A wide variety of weapons with different traits that can be obtained through loot.[/b] ✅ [b]A very cozy central hub.[/b] ✅ [b]Achievements.[/b] [h1]Cons:[/h1] ❌ [b]The vanilla bots have poor A.I. (I highly recommend downloading the Quality of Life Modpack).[/b] ❌ [b]There are quite a few cheaters in the game (players using god mode or somehow receiving seven grimoire dices at the end of a mission).[/b] ❌ [b]The game is obviously not as popular as it used to be (I highly recommend playing it with friends).[/b]

This game is PVE multiplayer experience but it is dead - no players on servers. So you will be playing single player with stupid bots. Do not buy.

Normally, I'd say it's worth the money, but there are so many games I've played at or below this price that have more content. While the game is fun at first, it quickly becomes repetitive. Some levels look the same, there are only about half a dozen enemies in the whole game, and all the quest are just "fetch this" or "defend that". Plus, the NPC banter, while amusing at first, starts repeating after only a short time. It's good for the first couple missions, then it starts repeating.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide 1 Game Review (Disclaimer - This is just my opinion and may be unpopular or disliked.) (General) 1. This game is a Co-op, First-Person, Action game. 2. The goal is for you and your team to move through maps fighting the rising of the Rat-guys in hopes to survive the invasion. (Positive) 1. The Rat-men are a cute twist for Zombie replacements. 2. It plays really well and smooth without disconnection, or connection issues. 3. The game's graphics are done well and the places and characters look really good. 4. There is a good amount of playable character and diversity in combat keeping things interesting. 5. The game can be played solo, but it is better with friends as it is like Left 4 Dead where you just switch your brain off and play. 6. It plays similarly in level design, etc to Left 4 Dead as-well so if you liked those games you will most likely enjoy this. 7. The levels have variety keeping it interesting with a change of scenery. (Negative) 1. It can get repititive and tedious. 2. It is not perfect and can get frustrating if you accidentally get stuck on something, etc. 3. The game can be played for social rather than the game itself. 4. It is not really story driven and can be a turn off for people who only play games with a good story.

Устаревшая и отсталая во всех отношениях игра. Лучше поиграть во вторую часть или Darktide.

От второй части отличается более выраженным гриндом в прокачке шмоток. Атмосфера более дарковая, из за этого хуже читаемость объектов. Локаций менее разнообразные и онлайна почти не осталось, но на разок сойдет.

К сожалению с выходом 2 части эта игра умерла. Лучше играйте во 2 часть.

Хорошая альтернатива Left for Dead

more of a neutral review. i enjoy playing sometimes. But at its core its a coop game, there's just not enough people that are playing. Even with the quality of life mod, the bots are dumber than rocks.
