Just an all around fantastic game that is engaging and unique when it came out. Hard to describe but highly recommended!

Rich atmosphere. Quick response weapons and vibrant environment to explore. Feels like walking through a living myth. Like a country & western set in the clouds.

Bastion - это тот редкий случай, когда игра умудряется быть стильной, цельной и честной от начала и до самого конца, не разваливаясь ни по геймплею, ни по настроению. Я закрыл 100% достижений за 34,5 часа, и за всё это время у меня ни разу не возникло ощущения скуки или затянутости, наоборот, хотелось пройти всё, попробовать всё и выжать из игры максимум. Музыкальный стиль здесь просто шикарный и работает не как фон, а как полноценная часть происходящего, визуальный стиль до сих пор выглядит выразительно и запоминается, а мир, который буквально собирается под ногами героя, постоянно держит интерес. Боевая система простая, но за счёт разнообразного оружия и испытаний не успевает надоесть, а рассказчик делает даже самые привычные действия частью истории, а не механической рутиной. Особенно приятно, что прохождение на сто процентов не ощущается как наказание, наоборот, оно органично вписывается в игру и воспринимается как естественное продолжение приключения. В итоге Bastion - это игра, которая целиком и полностью попала мне в настроение: стиль, музыка, подача и общий темп идеально сошлись, оставив после себя ощущение законченного и по-настоящему качественного игрового опыта.

Bastion is an Action Adventure RPG about the Kid and his mission to restore the world after the Calamity has hit it, trying to round up any available survivors from the region of the world. The game offers multiple zones each that gets rebuilt piece by piece as you walk along the road which is interesting for a game that came out back in 2011, there are also zones which are called "Proving Grounds" where you get to test your skills with different weapon styles. There are a couple of buildings that you find during your walkthrough that you get to build later on back at your base which is going to offer you lots of things including weapons, skills, upgrades, bounty board..etc You play depending on your playstyle with the weapon matching your likeness, many secondary weapons and skills to choose from as well. Great OST and music which is not a surprise for the studio that made Hades 1 and 2, I have played this game a bit late but I don't regret it at all, an emotional journey and lots of lore and narration from the beginning till the end which I really enjoyed. There are no cinematic, HP bar in middle of screen closed room boss fights, however there are giant elite and unique enemies / Mini Bosses that you will encounter during your journey, this was the only downside for me since I'm a person who loves boss fights. Really recommended Action-Adventure RPG made by the same studio that made Hades 1 & 2 "Supergiant Games" and really nice to play if you love this specific genre. Overall Rating 8/10

Great, short Supergiant game

great, fairly linear story with a meaningful end. AWESOME narrator always feeding you stuff while you go ham. soundtrack is all over in the best way. love that the post-game loop is written into it. fun fun mini games and challenges definitely go for 100%
