After the monumental achievement that is Hades, it's cool to come back and look at Supergiant's roots. Honestly, up until the ending, I thought the game was a bit overrated. The soundtrack and art style is p good but nowhere near compares to Supergiant's recent works, I'm not a fan of the portrayal of the Ura considering what happens to them in the story (though they are redeemed by one of the ending choices imo), and the combat is mostly fun (with a huge variety of weapons and difficulty) but just unpolished enough at times to be a bit infuriating. However, the ending kinda recontextualised the whole experience as more than the sum of it's parts. I'd describe the story as a mix of fallout and undertale (though not the meta narrative part) about the power of friendship and letting go of the past. I think it tries to investigate the best method by which to rebuild, but I'm writing this after literally just beating the story, so I'm not totally sure. Anyway, great starting game for a studio as great as Supergiant, and, having bought it for a pound, it's more than worth the price on the merit of the ending alone.

Esse jogo é incrivel do inicio ao fim, nessa época aqui a supergiant já mostrava que sabia fazer jogos maravilhosos O Jogo é curtinho mas nessa célula de tempo, te oferece uma história verdadeiramente boa. Super recomendo
Bastion is a classic indie game experience whose somewhat-jank combat is carried by a compelling world and a fantastic soundtrack. The story is told entirely through narration, which is very well acted. I'd recommend it.
This game worked perfectly on my steam deck. I played the entire game on it. I really liked this game! It has amazing music, beautiful art, and satisfying combat. The game is not long. You can finish it in around 6 hours, but the experience really stays with you. I liked the bite-sized levels, and the combat wasn't too intense; it felt chill, which I liked. This game is worth it just to experience the atmosphere.
Nice art that often feels cluttered. Captivating narration that is often drowned by the droning soundtrack. Interesting ideas are negated by the mindlessly repetitive gameplay. Bastion's sum is less than its parts.
Гра мого дитинства, як і в ті часи грати в неї одне задоволення!
