“Shadows is some of the most fun I’ve had with a stealth game in a decade” —PC Gamer
Play as Naoe, a quick-witted shinobi, and use light, sound, and shadows to evade detection. Infiltrate enemy strongholds with many parkour options including the new grappling hook, distract guards with shuriken or smoke bombs, and assassinate your targets with your Hidden Blade. As the samurai Yasuke, use silent bow takedowns or unleash devastating melee combos with your katana or naginata.

what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disgusting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, i wanted to play stealth, so, i tried my best to play it that way, but then, i found out that you can literally enter a place, run towards the objective, steal it and go away, What. The. ♥♥♥♥. there's no point in trying to be stealthy, if you need to rob an item, you simply run towards it, no matter if you have an army of npcs trying to kill you, you can just rob it and then run away, simple as that, so, if you can do that, what's the point of even trying to be stealthy? there isn't any, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up game made by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up company.

Boring, no soul, poorly made, crazy unoptimized, offensive to Japanese culture, people and Japan, dei woke slop from mentally ill "people", A LOT of controversies Before (and maybe also after) launch, of course if it happened to the devs culture, country etc they'll cry their lifes out, blame etc, but if it's for another country, culture, etc it's not a problem at all. This game is not special, nothing unique, this is only made to be woke dei slop, to force BS down your throat, accept it, play it, enjoy it and stay quiet, but obviously people won't do that, and didn't and never will, but always will speak out to such video games, it's for their own mentally ill abstract for wokeness with a woke (dei) message, not for the video game as an assassin and Japanese culture. Go woke, go broke and you did!
Assasin's Creed - RPG A very beautiful, incredibly HUGE game with an insane number of quests, side missions, auto-leveling enemies (which is bad), a huge number of points of interest on the map, repetitive, sometimes interesting quests, and well-executed settings. A game that lasts 100+ hours. Overall, I'm happy with my experience, but I wouldn't repeat it. I'll be able to play another Assasin's Creed game, but not for at least a year or more. Overall, 9/10
They should have just made it focused of assassin stuff. Half of the characters one plays is not even an assassin. Also, boss fights are really annoying. I don't really like souls-like games, and this game felt like that. Much more of an RPG game heavy on boss fights instead of being an assassin. They did do a cool job of having a little base that you could add buildings and gain informants. That part was very cool, but the rest of the game didn't really feel like you were some ninja. Overall its a decent game for about 10 or 20 hours, but gets repetitive in the missions and flow of the game. Better to just purchase Crimson Desert. You'll have about the same amount of stealth options, but the game is better built in all of the exploration and RPG stuff. This game isn't bad, but it isn't good either.
This game is terrible. I don't understand how you can screw this up so badly. I spent an hour and a half just trying to get through the tutorial/prologue and play the actual game. I had to start skipping most of the conversations and cutscenes just to start playing the actual game. Ever head of "show, don't tell"? This is just awful. I was actually just angry while trying to get through the crap and start playing. Everything else was just underwhelming. I'm going to reinstall Valhalla or something and play that instead.
Ok so overall I have played every Assassins creed besides Basim's game. I want to begin with yes this game can feel difficult or feel too easy and repetitive (like past games/ Ubisoft style) but there were many things I found to actually enjoy about this. Lets start with the Cons. FIRST- ok i can agree with many people about the climbing mechanic here, however this game focused more into you path finding and trail blazing rather than climbing every rock you can see. Secondly- its not that the map is intense, nor the difficulty. In my opinion its all the extra quests added. Some may like that but keep it until you reach the end of the game then give endgame quests. Thirdly- facial mechanics lacked intensely, there were moments though! i really feel for the story of Naoe and her path to redemption. Besides that, there's little tics i can also list but like most games anyways you'll run into a glitch weather its a corrupt file or just a bad save state, ect. so there on I don't see a reason to post it. The good! Seasons- by god I've waited since Odyssey to see year round rotations knowing they could achieve it. Thankfully we finally got it. 10/10 The beauty- Yeah yeah you can go to Sync points and catch a view from afar, its the solo nights without anyone where you just want to wander. Venture to maybe find a hidden side quest or maybe catch a great view to enjoy. The animal life, landscape, buliding, and set era of time this game was set it dear to my heart. No they wern't dead on in their story but that IS what Assassins creed does, its an adaptation of what our world is and they make it a part of their own. That is the beauty is following the story from the beginning and seeing the result. 9/10 Skills and assassin/ souls-like - I personally dig this, i main Naoe so I do enjoy just taking forever on bosses to beat them, like a 20 episode anime build up. OR you swap to Yasuke and absolutely ANNIHILATE every person in sight. even under leveled Yasuke is a beast but the swav of Naoe, the parkour and sneaking around assassinating is what I've loved in these games. 8.5/10 Story - Ok personally the top few stories (Since Black Flag beginning open world era) is probably Cassandra's in Odyssey. However the rise of the samurai and the skillful ninja was amazing. This is where the facial mechanics if they could've hit that mark like in Odyssey or even Valhalla. I would've jumped in joy but when there were moment's, specifically when Naoe's father and her played the flute and that incorporated to the story. won't lie that had me off my seat ready for the fight. 7.8/10 Difficulty - Had more moments in this game for some reason where the fight feels like it takes forever, thats due to using the Assassins skill run or the Souls-like skill run. Fighting in buildings is amazing, slicing down the walls and assassinating people. This game has the potential to really refine it to become one of the best tier based AC games but right now it feels off at times and feels choppy. 7.0/10 These are the base pro's, once again there's much more you could enjoy on your own from the tea parties, small interactions, and even the side quests are personable in their own way. This game is made for those who are both new and old like myself because if you played Vahalla (or spoiled the ending for yourself) you knew entering into this game was going to be unknown territory. Endgame here i'd give this game a solid 8/10. Looking past the negatives on my end its a very good game with good structure that needs to be taken at pace.
very slowly paced, uneven balance at the beginning of the game and 0 direction towards quests. ive heard it gets better but i'm not about to spend 20 hours trying to find random people and places with minimal direction hoping the game gets better. buy ghost of tsushima instead
