Go easy or normal difficulty, disable the entire HUD, ignore every quest except the main story and do tourism around the ancient greece until you are satisfied, that should be your goal in this game and the best experience you will get. Dont fall in the trap of doing every quest, explore every corner, reach every level and kill every enemy, the gameloop is not complex enough to engage all the hours a map this big requires.
Should've been a standalone game without the assassin creed name couldve started its own franchise honestly, loved this game, needed more skills in combat
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I've never had this many issues getting a game to run. Ubisoft connect is hot ass
This game has to be the most overhated game in the history of AC games. Although it might not feel like an AC game to everyone, it's still worth picking up whenever it's on sale. As I said previously, it's not the best AC game, but it is an awesome RPG. It has an absolutely giant, marvelous map. There are tons of customizable weapons, armor, abilities and playstyles. It also has multi-choice dialogues, which is a thing a lot of modern games lack. I personally loved both the main story and the DLCs. One thing that is bad is that some parts of the story are absolutely bloated; you go to one person who redirects you to three more, and they have you do jobs for them. Aside from that, it is an absolutely phenomenal game!
Good RPG experience with a HUGE explorable map! I liked the overall theme of the story and felt like I did go on a huge adventure exploring new islands and monuments and points of interest. The game can get a little on the grindy side with enemies becoming damage sponges in the late game chapters. Being able to sail the open seas gave me plenty of enjoyment and kept me invested in what was waiting for me when I discovered new locations. Overall its one of the better games in the series and a well crafted follow up to Assassin's Creed Origins.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a breathtaking, expansive journey through ancient Greece. The world design is stunningly vibrant, filled with gorgeous landscapes and historic landmarks. Naval combat returns in spectacular fashion, making Aegean Sea exploration incredibly satisfying. The shift towards full RPG mechanics provides deep, rewarding customization for weapons and abilities. Hunting down the secretive Cult of Kosmos adds an addictive layer of mystery and progression. However, the aggressive level-gating forces repetitive side-quest grinding to advance the main story. Ground combat feels fluid and aggressive, leaning heavily into parries and flashy Spartan abilities. The sheer volume of well-crafted content ensures you get dozens of hours of engaging playtime. Ultimately, it is a phenomenal, immersive adventure that successfully expands the franchise's boundaries. RATING: 9/10
A great AC game - large landscape/map, fluid fighting and great ship combat. Huge amount of content.
Really love this game, found it really engaging and I actually played a lot of the side quests/events etc and not just the main story. The map is really expansive and there is so much to do and explore.
Bought the game two days ago and still cant play it because Ubisoft wont let me create an account. Yea man, i think its a good system to not let me play a game if im not connected to a stupid account.
