Ys I & II Chronicles+

After thirteen years, I'm playing Ys II again on Nightmare mode! What can I say? Ys II is a bigger game than the first one. It's a direct sequel with more variety in combat. In addition to the classic "bump system," where you damage enemies by bumping into them, there's magic! You can shoot projectiles and do other cool things, such as teleporting and talking with enemies. Believe it or not, every enemy has something to say. I was shocked by how much care went into the dialogue in this game, from unlocking more chats with villagers after giving them gifts to talking about fourth wall jokes with snake enemies. It's a real gem of a game!

Que jogo bom e prazeroso de jogar. Apesar de "simples" ele faz tudo bem, mesmo tendo um sistema de combate simples as boss fights são bem desafiadoras e divertidas. A ambientação é linda, a trilha sonora ótima e os personagens são bem cativantes. Enfim, um prato cheio pra quem gosta do gênero ou amantes de games em geral!!!

Great Improvement over the first one... Was easier comparatively, but more fun... Gameplay was a great improvement with introduction to magic, and characters (and combat too) had more depth in general compared to the first one. The grind is fun and in no shape or form tedious. Also, lots of easter eggs were there throughout and had a blast finding them... Bosses were dynamic but lot easier compared to YS 1, except a few, but u can easily over-level urself (not possible in the 1st title as level cap was 10) and defeat bosses without much rage. Final boss was way too easy though, especially after equiping shield magic, but It is What it isss... Overall great title - Would recommend... P.S.: Some of the achievements within the game are a bit sus tbh...

Este juego Ys I y II han tocado una fibra de mi corazón rolero, el mundo de ys es muy hermoso y continuar las aventuras, especialmente después de jugar Ys prologue, es una sensación increible. Este remake de los clásicos de los 80's está bien realizado, respetando personajes, eventos e historia. Ver a los descendientes de los primeros sacerdotes que encarnamos en Ys prologue fue increible, especialmente ver a las diosas gemelas de Ys y tener la oportunidad de viajar a la isla flotante de Ys es algo que no se puede contar. Es recomendable que jueguen al menos una vez este par de juegos. La mecánica de combate es muy sencilla, amigable y muy rápida. Personajes carismáticos y tridimensionales que te sumergen con facilidad dentro de la historia. Hace mucho, mucho tiempo que no sentía esto con un RPG. Esta reseña es tanto para Ys I e Ys II ya que para mi ambos son una sola historia
