Буквально та же Вондер Бой из 90, но в современной обертке Персонаж управляется странно, иногда чувство будто подошвы маслом намазаны меня облик можно только с определенным мечом, который еще и купить надо в секретном магазине, что тоже минус, можно было много придумать с механикой перевоплащения

7/10 Muy bueno Remake del Clasico juego de Master System, aunque habia salido en otras plataformas también. Es un juego de acción/aventura 2D (proto-metroidvania). Sigue la historia directamente de Wonder boy in Monster Land directamente, jugando el ultimo boss del titulo anterior (tal y como hace Castlevania: Simphony of the night con el boss de Rondo of blood). En ella te maldicen transformandote en un semianimal y tienes que encontrar como quitar la maldición. Iras venciendo dragones y cada uno te dará una transformación diferente, que cada una te permitirá acceder a nuevas zonas. Los cambios respecto al original: - Los Graficos nuevos estan dibujados a mano, con detalle y animaciones preciosas. - La musica ha sido grabada en alta calidad con instrumentos reales. - Puedes elegir una chica como tu personaje al inicio del juego. - Tienes un boton para cambiar a los graficos pixelados en todo momento (ojalá todos lo hicieran) - Puedes cambiar tambien la musica y los efectos a los de 8 bits con un botón (yo juego con esta música, pues la orquestada a veces es demasiado intensa y distrae de la acción). Creo que respeta mucho el original, dandote la oportunidad de verlo mucho mas bonito y animado, sin perder la esencia del antiguo. Ojalá todos los Remakes fuesen así. Tiene el problema de que explica poco (lógico en un juego antiguo), y puedes no saber como avanzar tras conseguir una nueva transformación y puede ser que te pierdas y des varias vueltas hasta encontrar que hace tu trasnformación, o por donde tienes que avanzar. Si te gustan los juegos de acción lateral, con un poco de plataformas o los metroidvanias (aunque no lo es exactamente) este juegó te gustará, y podras probar sin esfuerzo un buen muy buen clasico.

Muito gostoso de jogar, fazia algum tempo que não sentia animação em pegar um jogo curto pra brincar acredito que quem curte desafios em dificuldades mais altas vai ser mais interessantes mas eu sou um cara do casual. Pra quem quer se divertir e brincar com crianças ou só pra distrair é da hora. Compensa pegar na promoção não com preço cheio.

Disegni e animazioni strafighe, non c'è che dire. ...e il gameplay di una torsione testicolare. La quantità di stagger e knockback è raccapricciante, prendere le pietre è stato come sbattere ripetutamente la testa contro uno spigolo. Molto divertente, penso che proverò anche gli altri capitoli!

Un bonheur de découvrir ce remake, tant d'années après l'originel ! Le switch origin/remake audio et vidéo indépendamment est génialissime. Le jeu est resté authentique mais plus joli. Bravo ! Difficulté bien dosée.

Quick Summary: A classic game from a wonderful series, remade with a lot of heart and beauty. The graphics, music all re-done, but retraining the spirit of the original a action-platformer with a little MetroidVania thrown in. It might be short, but it's worth the nostalgia trip. Story: Having defeated the Mecha-Dragon in the last game "Wonder Boy in Monster Land" The Hu-man is transformed into a dragon. Now, you're off to return yourself back to normal. It's barebones, but for a last 80's/early 90's game what can you ask for? Gameplay: Like I said early, it's a action platformer with metroidvania style gameplay. You start off a dragon that can shoot fire balls, and you wonder around the areas until you find a boss defeat it and get changed into the next one a Mouse-man. There's 5 different "creatures" you'll turn into each with their own style of gameplay and abilities along with the 6th Hu-man form. Along the way you'll earn coin to buy different swords, shields, and armor that change the amount of defense and damage you can dish out. The bosses for the most part are not horrible, but the last boss if you don't explore and get the right equipment can take forever and drive you to quit, but overall the game has a fun adventure flair to it. Graphics: Wow, did they do a great job with the art style. The game is done in a hand drawn animated style that let's you on the fly switch back to the retro graphics at anytime. It's great. Everything in the game moves with fluidity and style. The upgraded designs look detailed and amazing and even from the small pixel art they had to work with, make characters stand out far larger than they could be. The game is worth it just to see the thing in motion and how far it came. Sound/Music: Fantastic, everything here is recreated with such care and love. All the tracks from the original are there along with the ability to swap between modern and retro on the fly just like the graphics. You can't help but stop and listen at times and notice the difference. Final Thoughts: I grew up with the Wonderboy/Monster series. I have found memories playing it both on the original hardware, along with other means over the years. To see it come to life in the way it has here, makes me wish the entire series got the treatment, along with a few others games. The game is pretty short, and you have to realize you're getting into, a retro game with a shiny coat. The gallery you can look at from the main menu is filled with art, animation, videos of the music being made and you can see how hard they put themselves into this game. Highly Highly recommended for any fan of retro games or people who have a soft spot for charm.

Incredible game and incredible remake, buy it and play it! Absolutely love playing it with the old graphics and musics (the new stuff is fantastic too) Also, so happy they brought back the option of having the old inventory Fingers crossed on an option to change the charm stones back to the original logic. The challenge zones to get charm stones are cool and all, but I miss the old charm stones a bit.
