In a world devoid of joy, walking through days empty of emotion, with nothing but the desire to survive another day, a cynical scavenger arrives at the Planetarium. Here, he meets Yumemi, an android girl with robotic soul purer than any human's. Circumstances bind them together in cooperation, that blossoms into friendship. Once again, Key has created a novel that leaves a lasting impression on a person and it won't be just tears. Yumemi's stories are beautiful, full of longing, and accompanied by a gorgeous soundtrack. Planetarian é uma das obras mais fracas, em termos gerais, da Key. Tem uma duração bastante curta, poucos personagens (apenas dois), poucas CGs e uma trilha sonora que não rende tanto. Porém… Mesmo com suas fraquezas, com seus defeitos e pontos negativos… Planetarian é uma VN que consegue fazer exatamente o que as histórias da Key procuram: transmitir uma narrativa que te faz choramingar feito um bebezinho. Embora isso só aconteça no final, pois, como já disse, ela é curta e não tem muito a oferecer em extensão, mesmo assim com o pouco que tem para outorgar, ela consegue se enraizar dentro de ti. Esta pequena história pós-queda da humanidade e da civilização vai te assolar e ficar guardada no seu coração. Portanto, atreva-se. Não tenhas medo de gastar a pouca grana que este jogo custa em promoção e venha desfrutar desta história, deste pequeno elo dentro de um mundo murchante. Pois, todas as estrelas do céu estão esperando por ti.

very fun played most of it on psp before it broke so i skipped through some chapters its definitely worth the price

I wouldn't be able to call this one of KEY's best works, but it certainly gets the job done in regards to presentation & overall aesthetics, which I imagine the HD overhaul had a hand in helping with. There isn't any particularly ground-breaking characterisation to glean from Planetarian. At best, I could say there's PLENTY of intrigue surrounding the apocalyptic setting but it feels doesn't really lean into any show-don't-tell philosophies as much as I'd have liked the story have done, since most of what you learn of the game's settings is done through clumps of exposition as opposed to any meaningful discoveries the protagonist makes. Still, it's by no means a bad game, & neither is it a bad story either. For one of my first KEY VNs, I'm glad I got the chance to play it. While it may not be the best VN in the world, it's still worth giving a shot if you have a couple hours to spare if you'd like to invest in the world of KEY VNs.

"Why don't you come to the planetarium? The beautiful twinkling of eternity that will never fade, no matter what. All the stars in the sky are waiting for you." This intro and the impeccable opening OST, is enough to make me cry lowkey.. I'm a sucker for dystopian setting existential themes and this one got me real good 😭😭 Key never misses, absolute geniuses 🙏🙏🙏

一切本应死绝的封印都市，一个本来应该坏掉的机器人，一个活在废墟般世界里的猎人。 比起前传的1小时短篇，本篇也没长到哪里去，结尾有种戛然而止的感觉。 在绵延不绝的磅礴大雨里，生于战争的人终于见到了30年前的星空。 纵使虚假，仍旧璀璨。

挺动人的短篇，音画文本都很优秀，缺陷就是实在太短了，情绪流来不及积淀便匆匆结局了。同样是Key写的末日独行者与少女机器人的故事，《星之终途》和《星之梦》气质却有相当的不同，前者是刺眼的空寂，后者是温凉的潮湿
