dr. Stephen J. McRegon, scientist, computer engineer, and something an a dreamer was asked to help a medium large computer company, to create a ultimate virtual reality system, which was ahead of time. And he did it. On year 1982 he created an open world game for Amiga personal computer, called AOSYS, Amiga operating system. AOSYS was capable to unlock incredible hidden features in Amiga 500, able to take full advantage of it's potential. Unfortunately it was never introduced to the markets in your dimension, where you read this message. Until this day came. McRegon found a way to blend space and time by simple breaking the law's of nature; He was sending radio waves Faster Than Light and that way broke the Cosmic Speed Limit. That maneuver opened a portal (which can be used only for sending small mass objects or voice), and hence deliver AOSYS to our dimension. For you all to play. You see, all physical objects, even you and your chair, exist in three dimensions. Everything has a width, and a high and a length. But there is another kind of length, a length in time.

rawWwRrr's raTiNg: 🟥 ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ = 🛑 Nope. Mechanics are off. Can't turn the music off. Very unsatisfying. Takes forever to load a level. Weird launcher. Got the strange sensation that I was playing an asset flip title by the physics. I'll turn a blind eye to less than AAA graphics any day of the week, but at least back it up with decent gameplay. But besides that, not sure where those screenshots on the store page are from either. My HEDT with twin 1080tis should be able to piece together something close to the screenshots without spinning up a single fan and didn't see it. Maybe I'm being too critical of an indie title, but I've seen far better and willing to pay a lot more. Perhaps it needs more development time. But until then, just hold off. -- rawWwRrr
Had to submit for a refund. This is the second game on Steam I've ever bought that flat out wouldn't work. I could get to the weird launcher screen...but clicking on the tutorial opened a different window that seemed to be a loading window for the tutorial...that never loaded. On a side note...why does this game need more disk space than Civilization VI? This game is 12.12 GB in size!? Seems weird to me.
*update 3* Please keep in mind that I will not test this game for a while as of now.(since all my save games got corrupted) I would like to however point out that the dev(s) of this game are still working on improving and trying to fix the present problems in the game. Now for me the big problem is the engine, I have played so many of these FPSC/gameguru games by now I have gotten used to the crashes/long loading times and other issues. The devs of this game are clearly pretty inexperienced, but are doing their best with the available tools. I would really like to give a neutral stance on this game. But I would still like to say, buy at your own risk. There may be crashes, maybe even corrupted saves. But I am sure the devs are dedicated to improve on their work. For me it's the neutral button for now ...
Voltage is a GameGuru asset flip, that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by using the GameGuru FPS game construction kit, which allows amateurs/non-developers to place flipped assets around a map to construct basic FPS levels without needing to know anything about game development. It's just a simple point and click interface. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using the GameGuru FPS construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided.
The development of Voltage seems to evolve in small steps. Loading times must be improved further! Beside that Voltage Super Retro offers an unique visual style, which gives a very nostalgic appeal exploring the vast level segments. The FOV is freely adjustable. Developers, please take care of this project! Thank you!
This is just another buggy, bad asset flip, doesen´t make any sense, no clear sense of progression, got stuck in the first ten minutes, horrible graphics with no artistic integrity composed of GageGuru stock assets placed with no context, and the price is the most insulting part of it, please don´t buy this, i still wouldn´t give this game another play even if it was free, this is a scam where the only remotely good part is the main menu.
