If you are expecting the nostalgic 90's point and click games you remember, don't buy this game. It is instead a poorly made shooter that has no way to exit except through a control alt delete. I don't know why Humongous Entertainment decided to change their games back then, but it shows that they shouldn't have.
now that we have gamesites on the internet for free this is no longer worth anything. no mystery to solve, just a minigame that goes on forever...
a tiny minigame like the ones you can play on your watch in every spyfox game
Rarely have I experienced a game as excruciatingly painful to play as Spy Fox In: Hold the Mustard. This game is pure, unfiltered slop—an insult to both the Spy Fox series and the concept of fun itself. It’s the kind of half-baked, flavorless nonsense that makes you question your life choices the moment you press start. The gameplay? Buns. The controls feel like they were designed as a practical joke, clunky to the point of being actively hostile to the player. slogging through this soulless excuse for an adventure that feels like it was cobbled together in a single afternoon. Visually, the game looks like it was scraped off the bottom of an old Flash website. Gone is the charming art style of the original Spy Fox games—this is a lifeless, uninspired mess with animations that feel like they’re being played in slow motion. The sound design is equally atrocious, with music that grates on the ears and voice acting that sounds like the actors recorded their lines with all the enthusiasm of someone reading a grocery list. And let’s talk about the story—if you can even call it that. The writing is so bland and forgettable that even the most die-hard Spy Fox fans will struggle to care. The humor falls flat, the characters are one-note, and the entire experience feels like it was made by people who had zero passion for the franchise. Simply put, Spy Fox In: Hold the Mustard is a disgrace. It’s a joyless, phoned-in, bottom-tier excuse for a game that fails in every possible way. If this is what Spy Fox has been reduced to, I’d rather he stay retired. Avoid at all costs.
Well, the game is for children but also for the nostaliga. The game plays well on my system (maybe because it's an old game) and makes you think of how far we've come in videogames! Get it for nostalgia & for ALOT of fun ;)
It brings back memories from my childhood. The emulator the game uses works brillaintly, and has no frame drops. The only thing I can find myself disliking is the jet gameplay, I find it a little harder to control than I used to, but It's been a while.
Well i though it will be something like Spy Fox in "Dry Cereal" (1997) ; / im disappointed.... this one is boring...
Spy Fox 系列衍生出的小游戏,质量和本体之间的差距真的挺大 非常幼稚的玩法(虽然本来就是儿童向的作品,但仍然稍显低龄化)
