In the future, a doctrine of survival unites humanity against a mysterious aggressor - the Hollow. As the chosen ones, it’s up to you as a crew of up to 1-6 mavericks to brave the void and bring order to the galaxy!
Embark on the most advanced spacecrafts ever built, and journey into deep space on thrilling missions that you and your crew absolutely never trained for! Asteroid storms, solar flares and your buddies’ screw-ups will be the least of your worries, as hostile aliens, and desperate human scavengers push your crew to their limits.
Pilot the ship, man the turrets, perform emergency repairs, recharge the power cells, utilize space station weaponry, fabricate munitions and exit the ship on extravehicular missions - be it patching the ship hull or scavenging derelict wrecks.
Teamwork is key: pick a role and prioritize your most urgent tasks with your crew... or try to do everything at once and just wing it as you’ll be short on reliable manpower!
Brute force through thick armor, pierce energy shields, launch missile barrages or snipe weak spots - either way you’ll make sure the enemy ships spin out of control to their destruction - preferably before you blow up! The victor claims the spoils, and you’ll need to scavenge valuable materials to upgrade and face the direst conditions with top notch equipment … and don’t forget to go full fashion victim and customize your character's spacesuit to fly in style and boldly go where you probably shouldn’t have!

Your ship, your way to play: With a flexible player role system and on-the-go installable ship systems you’ll be able to switch your strategies faster than a rogue asteroid changes course.
Customize and upgrade: Give your character a spiffy new look with rich upgrades, or add more toys to your ship! You'll be the most powerful and stylish crew in the galaxy!

The gameplay is great and as a group we've had a lot of fun with it. I've been hosting most sessions and generally we just play till we die. Now that we're 25 levels into our skill trees that's not happening as much. So this weeks game play went like this: Day 1 --- play till three bosses, have a banner ship. We call it a night. There was 3 of us on the run. Day 2 --- there were 6 of us, so we start a new run, build the ship up, have a fantastic build, get three bosses in. Some folks drop out and we're left with the previous days group so we save and figure we'll resume that session. NOPE! THAT SAVE IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE. Apparently you get 1 STUPID SAVE GAME IN 2026. This is a multiplayer game, where I expect that anyone gaming with a group could get into the situation like I have here where you might host a different group based on people's schedules and might want to have saves for said groups. To make it better, I learned all this after starting up a solo run, so the second of the two runs got tossed in the trash too. So all the hours played were just grind and gone like a fart in the wind. If none of that bothers you then sure pick it up. But I won't recommend anyone else go the route of buying this game until they implement a save system. This is 2026. I've got DOS games that I can launch and load old saves from and somehow in 2026 we can't have multiple slots??? EDIT: Steam asked if I wanted to update after I played another 54 hours. Most of that was solo play, so another couple of bits from that aspect. First, my best run ended in an absolutely brutal unexplained death that I assume was due to friendly fire. I was 27 jumps in when I finally got the BRAIN absolver lance, set it up and then magically I went from 65ish hull to being blown up in about 5 seconds. Not an enemy around except for some prox mines about 600m away, so I assume it had to be friendly fire. My level of disappointment that friendly fire is a thing for Mk3 BRAIN turrets is immense. I've found some additional issues with things like "wow my screen keeps randomly glitching as I look at stuff" that is annoying but ignorable. The fact that you can get stuck in places like the outside of the ship....in space.... is annoying as well. I've had to force respawn due to that. For solo game play I think it's nuts that there's not a relic or boss drop that lets you convert a gun to a BRAIN. At a certain point....something like 14 levels in, my entire ship was Mk3 and I had no use for upgraders, or animus or anything. But it took 27 jumps to get the dang gun I wanted and then it blew me up. Another thing is that there should be a switch to auto-convert items of a rarity. Like if the fabricator is Mk2, then auto-recycle anything that is a 1, and mk3 auto-recycles anything 2 or below. In a really ideal world there'd be a mechanic where grav scoop 3 would just automagically pipe alloys and auto-recycle items direct to alloys when picked up. Some other things that would make for a better experience: * Allow private games to have more than 6 people. Yeah, yeah, there's a mod for that but it only works if your playing with PCMR friends and excludes you console friends. * Holy crap the console from the pilots chair takes up SOOO much screen space. Why on earth wouldn't the pilot just have a HUD in the chair. You almost have to third person view. * Why no official keybind to void jump from third person??? I have a few other issues, but ultimately the review summary is no different now than my original. TL/DR: Gameplay is great, it's a super fun solid game, but I absolutely cannot recommend it until there's official support for save slots. And really the save slots should be able to be named so that you can remember which group was which without writing it on post it note by the PC.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I play a lot of co-op games, and since Void Crew is heavily built around cooperation, it looked promising and immediately caught my interest. I wasn’t disappointed either, there are only a few aspects that I think could benefit from improvement. To me, the gameplay is clearly the game’s strongest point (I haven’t encountered many titles with a similar style). It relies heavily on strategy and skill. Before setting out on our journey through space, it’s important to think through the tactics we want to use to defeat enemy ships, and only then begins the part with the action. There are four classes: scavenger, engineer, gunner, and pilot. The scavenger’s job is to head out into space. This is needed frequently, for example to search wreckages for loot or to complete certain missions that require leaving the ship. The engineer usually stays aboard (except when they need to step into hyperspace to repair the ship). They enhance various systems (making them work more efficiently) and fix internal damage. Whenever a new item is needed, it’s typically the engineer who crafts it. They provide support from the back line, especially for the gunner(s) and the pilot. The gunner’s task is to shoot down enemy ships, while the pilot is responsible for steering the ship and dodging incoming fire. During gameplay, players can freely switch between classes at any time. There are three ship types: small, medium, and large. In my opinion, the small ship is ideal for about 1-3 players, the medium for 4-5, and the large one for 6 players. Playing with a big group of friends is incredibly exciting. The game is excellent and entertaining, but unfortunately it does suffer from certain issues that I believe would be worth fixing. Many bugs disrupt the entire gameplay experience, some are far more than minor cosmetic flaws. These problems usually stem from server issues: disconnects, lag, and there was even a time when I didn’t receive an achievement because of them. For this reason, I’d be happy to see the game move to a peer-to-peer system in the future. The developers do invest a lot of effort into the game, so it will likely improve over time. It’s understandable that some players complain about the bugs and therefore don’t recommend the game to others, but in my opinion it would be a shame to skip a game like this for such reasons.
Not quite worth the price tag. It's a chore simulator, and I didnt get enough hours per dollar with my friend group. It may be different for you, but I would be cautious.

Judged as a roguelike, this game is terrible for the following reasons: 1. There are no interesting decisions to make within a run. Every run feels the same, as there are no build-defining items or synergies to build around. 2. The character builds are lacking. You pretty much just dump your points into a single tree, and within each of the four trees you aren't able to create any unique or different builds. 3. In a run there are only a handful of missions, and you'll probably experience everything within 1-2 hours. 4. There isn't any progression on your ship, and each run feels the same. The main draw of this game is the gameplay and running the ship with your friends. In this sense, the game is mediocre. 1. You can't do anything in EVA and there is no infantry combat. 2. There is too little content. Very little variety in guns, missions, and enemies. 3. It is a fun game with friends, but what isn't? Overall 5/10, mainly due to lack of content, uninspired gameplay, and poorly implemented roguelike mechanics.
The games content is incredibly limited, with poor enemy variety and mission objectives, however it can be good fun with friends, I just don't think its worth full price.
I've played this game a lot since it was first released, and generally enjoyed the gameplay and the variety of missions. It was something fun, lighthearted and low stakes to play with friends. But then I played the new Calamities update for the first time, and my friends and I quit after 20 minutes in sheer frustration after being quickly destroyed by a Singularity and then a random massive bomb. I'm not necessarily complaining that these things are in the game, but surely they should be optional challenges like the Mutators rather than forced on everyone in the main game. Sadly I can't see my gaming group picking Voic Crew back up until we can play without Calamities
Its a fun game. I personally would an enjoy an option for blueprints to carry over between voyages, as after about 20 hours / level 18 or so, I am finding the xp progression not enough for hardware variety and half the playtime is on the starter gear still it feels like. Getting rare drops isn't as fun when you know they will only be something you can use for 1-2 missions, and boss loot seems entirely pointless since they are the end of the run generally. Maybe I am missing a higher tier of skill where you can go indefinitely, but it doesn't feel that way currently.
The game will get a thumbs up when they remove the AI voices from the game. It has never nor will ever "Make sense creatively" to use AI when real voice actors exist. Otherwise the game is really good with a co-ordinated team and a struggle in solo (I'm writing this having not tried out the new B.R.A.I.N variants added in Maximum Calamity, this should be a massive help. But struggle in solo is a subjective down side for me). Mostly been replaced with Jump Space for me and my teammates, but this has its own appeal and I wouldn't take away from that.
