Need to lower price for the game i just don't feel there is enough content for the price i would recommend to my friends if game was a little more polished with a bit more content if y'all would drop the price to ten USD i feel like this game could blow up.I would probably even buy a few copy's for my friends.

upside: boarding actions downside: cannot throw my friends out of the airlock upside: as engineer, can annoy friends by turning off the power downside: cannot eject reactor for dramatic effect without "ruining the fun" or whatever upside: i can be a catboy robot downside: i can be a catboy robot
Pros: This type of a game is very rare. Being able to play as a crew of space ship with 4-5 of your friends, each having his role and skills is great. The game actually has a story. You just have to dig really deep to find it. Cons: The game i very unpolished. Glitches in UI, nonsenical controls schemes, star map is a mess, 75% of mechanics and things in the game universe is not explained at all. Lot of different small things offten don't work, are glitching, are stuck in a wall etc. You basicaly can't swap ships once you upgraded your starting one with better modules. Unless you want to lose ALL those upgrades ! Why the game even has ability to swap ships like that I don't understand. AI crewmember are offten worse than having nobody at all. Offten actively working against you in a critical situation - eg in combat, or not doing anything at all. Graphics are very basic, as you can see on the screenshots. Most planets and stations are really ugly, looking like a 3D game from 1992.
Good concept but a severe failure to execute. The game is simply unfinished and is unlikely to ever be finished. I didn't like it for various reasons but maybe you will. Who knows. Too bad. It could have been something great if they had kept up with it.
My best in-game experience so far was rescuing an imprisoned faction hero. I was a fresh pilot, as green behind the ears as it gets. And yet, I somehow convinced our crew I can take us on that ride! Through a field of killer lasers, engine-off slingshotting through a cave with sound activated mines, and stealth mode flying past some heavy armed drones straight to the prison door's force field. And you know what? Apparently, it was some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing flying because we got in! Then I had to weave and loop to avoid drones, hefty plasma cannons and keep the ship in one piece long enough for the rest of the crew to infiltrate the prison, grab our target, and beam back. As soon as they were on-board, I aligned with the escape vector and we warp-jumped away like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pros — it was executed to perfection! It got even better when our engineer said I actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so badly, he had to drop the ship's overheated power core before it became supernova… So, er… Like, no witnesses either! Right? Everyone compares this game to Start Trek, but playing it I feel more like a part of a crew in an entirely different franchise. It's not Start Trek, it's definitively not Star Wars, unfortunately it's not Firefly or The Expanse either. But I think it's better this way. It stands on its own and does so proudly. It's tons of fun with friends. Counterintuitively, it's even more fun with strangers — especially if they don't know what they're doing! It's still funny and interesting in solo* but multiplayer is where it shines. After a while gameplay seems basic, but it's only because you're playing on “easy” by default which makes the learning curve very newbie friendly. I strongly recommend cranking up some server settings as soon as you get familiar with the game. Some people wish it was an MMO. I'd love that as well, but it can't be done unless the game gets rewritten from scratch, and AFAIK, it won't happen in the foreseeable future. There are mods available, though! There's one that disables crew limits, so you can have as many players in your crew as you wish. Another one introduces a fleet gameplay where you and your friends can be in charge of several ships. That and a lot more. The community is pretty amazing in that matter. There's even a mod that changes flying to something very similar to Elite Dangerous in Flight-Assist-Off, which I loved! Full disclosure: it makes physics unstable after getting far enough from the origin of the map — it's a limitation of the engine. It's tons of fun, though. Zero issues on Linux. The game works with controller as well as hotas and, obviously, keyboard and mouse. No issues in VR, a very pleasant experience — some pretty views out there. *) If you really want to play solo (meaning you have to play as a captain), I strongly recommend fulfilling the duties of the pilot because otherwise you're going to have issues with that silly pilot bot flying into things**. **) Alternatively you can install a mod — go to betas, enable Mono branch, then go to the game's official Discord, and download a community mod that introduces a smarter pilot (or the entire smarter crew***). ***) You can program your crew's behaviour yourself without any mods by simply clicking on some rules, but I didn't try that, so I'm not sure whether you can improve pilot's flying with that or not (there's nothing wrong with it either; the conditions-clicking interface simply didn't appeal to my inner coder's liking). ABANDONED GAME The concept is great. Massive Star Trek feels. I had high hopes for this game. Unfortunately, the developers have abandoned this to work on another game. If they had continued to fill it with life it would have been amazing. The majority of the game feels unfinished, like it is all just placeholder textures and empty spaces. It had so much potential.
Star Trek
This game was kind of cool at the time I played it back in 2019. Back then I excused it for lacking polish and functionality. It looked promising, but some mechanics were just not as fleshed out as I wanted them to be. 6 years later, it looks exactly the same, except now the servers are completely empty. There are now multiple games out that offer a vastly better experience than this one does and for about the same price, making this game obsolete.
Legitimately a fun romp in space. 5 easy to understand roles, and even bots to backfill the spots. The "fun" is in the chaos that ensues. Something as simple as "jump three quadrants away to deliver this package" becomes a bunch of hi-jinks and unmitigated disasters as you get involved in dogfights, bad luck, sidetracking on planets and just your friends being... well, your friends. Is it perfect? no not even. Its got a janky UI, the menus take awhile to understand, the tutorial (well its heart in the right place) doesn't teach everything, and some talents obviously outperform others. But you don't play it because its perfect. you play it to effectively re-enact some sci-fi drama ya'll enjoy. The fun is most definitely in the journey more than the destination. Its always amazing talking to other players who have logged YEARS into this game just to finish a singular campaign.
