Reviews
3 years after playing the first game, waiting months to be fully released and on sale: Kill it with Fire 2. This is what I was literally expecting for a sequel: more destruction, more weapons and giant places to explore. If you play the first, and then you play this one just right after, it can be quite repetitive. However, with all the waiting, it feels fresh. The whole game is pretty enjoyable, aside from the tower defense part, which I really didn't like. To be honest, I don't really know what to say. If you are reading this, it is because you have already played the first game, thus you already know what the game is about and what to expect, CHAOS.
A worthy successor of KIWF. A huge W for the developers. 10/10 I ♥♥♥♥ my pants

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matalos con fuego, así dice el titulo. Pero al final terminas usando una chancla del infinito o cualquier cosa menos fuego, en fin... Recomendado 100% solo si te gusto el 1. Como que peor que 3?, hay 3? XD
Just as good as the first game, cant wait to play it with the boys too :)
Bought this on sale the other day with a friend just to try it out. We thought we would get a couple hours of fun but ended up playing it for the next 3 days for a few hours each day. Reminded me of gaming as a kid in that the game constantly builds on itself and as you unlock new equipment you can go back to the levels you've already been to and unlock/do more things. Honestly was a ton of fun and I had relatively low expectations going in. I never write reviews but I thought this guy deserved it since he made such a fun game. I also looked up who made this game while writing the review and one guy made both of these games by himself. Pretty incredible. Thanks Casey!
More fun than what you pay for, but a little buggy at times, and i have experienced 3 bugs that aren't game breaking but have softlocked progression for side quests.
i played the first game and heard there would be a second game and honestly at first i didnt enjoy it much mabye because i would only play it once every 4 months or so when there was a new level but coming back to it with the full game has been a blast
I had to force myself to complete this game and be as fair as possible in my evaluation, because I was about ready to give up on it after being required to navigate the Cybercore level. I was excited for more KIWF, and this one has a fun setup, picking up where the first game left off but with a dimension-hopping collectathon twist. Similar to last time, you'll be locked out of new areas and certain compartments until you either kill some spiders, collect maguffins, or do a specific task, some of which are easier if you come back later with different gear. The levels this time around are more open-ended and loop back on themselves due to the almost necessity of backtracking, but they feel sized just right to not make it tedious - except Arachnitopia, arguably. That's all well and good but what has truly lost me in this game is a severe lack of Quality of Life features, random glitches, and other aspects of the level designs. The aforementioned Arachnitopia has one of its level challenges on top of a building that you can only access by destroying adjacent buildings to reveal a ramp. Only, once I had the ramp fully revealed there are horrendous hitboxes on those buildings making it nearly impossible to climb to the top without falling off. And if I got to the top where the challenge antenna tower is located, there is a big triangular chunk of building leftover that was always keeping me from jumping up to activate the challenge, or made me slide off and have to do the whole climb over again. "Just use the jetpack!" Well, that's another specific QOL item I hated in this game, because when you unlock it, it isn't a passive, YOU HAVE TO SELECT IT LIKE A WEAPON AND USE THE FIRE BUTTONS TO BOOST. Seriously, why TF wasn't it just made into a double-jump or something, like have it activate if you press jump in midair again after jumping, as opposed to forcing me to have to swap to it any time I want some extra jump height? Easily the worst part of the game is the Cybercore level, and that you have to navigate it in order to progress the story. The whole place boils down to a sort of arcade where you spend tokens to play challenges to earn tickets which you then use to buy items. And the best they could come up with for the tokens is that they are passively generated near the entrance, so you have to wait minutes at a time for them to fill up so you can collect them and try a challenge again. The level has teleporters spread throughout but I swear they never consistently warped to the same location, so I felt like I had to navigate on foot to avoid losing critical items. And that also goes out the window if I fell off the edge of the stage and the game would teleport me to safety... on a platform I hadn't been to yet, so I was clueless as to how to get back to where I needed to be. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the crosshair/aiming reticle is awful and hard to see. It's literally just a dark grey circle in the middle of the screen and effectively disappeared for me when looking at a similarly dark surface. So, good luck knowing where your melee swings are going in the Cybercore Melee challenge with the dark-colored floor! Rancho Saguaro was another bit of confounding level design for me. I was effectively able to bypass any of the level "challenges" by just killing a bunch of spiders and activating the teleporter that sent me to the roof of the saloon where I could get the next level's datachip. Only, I was apparently supposed to do something there in order to progress in Spider Hell because a talking cactus wouldn't let me in a door because I wouldn't stand being "covered in spiders". Yeah, thanks for that incredibly helpful hint. And yet I could use the jetpack to bypass that and enter the back side of that part of the level. I think I've rambled enough. I would only recommend it on a steep sale or if you have friends to play co-op with.
Phenomenal sequel, highly recommended
For someone with mild arachnophobia, it's okay. For anyone without it, it'll be great
